To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It’s been fine for my main use - walking up and down in the local pool and doing pool based strength work. Light weight and clips on easily and firmly. Awkward adding songs from iTunes but that’s more about iTunes. Main frustrations (1)one or both earphones falling out of my ear/s any time I immerse my head - even a gentle back float. So I’ll have to get different earphones once I return to lap swimming. (2)Instructions totally inadequate (& from memory printed in insanely small font)- not unusual but too difficult to find an online version eg I searched quite a while to find out why it was flashing a lot (Battery was charged) and I still don’t know how to find out how much battery it has, or if you can. (3)Low battery warning seemed to come up sooner than I’d expected. I’d also love to know how much time is left between getting that warning and the mp3 actually shutting down.
After checking all the reviews, I was feeling pretty confident that these would work as stated. I was not wrong.
These headphones have changed my swimming routine from constantly the same. To a much more comfortable and rewarding experience.
As per other reviews. Yes, you will need to find the correct plugs to stop any water getting in and affecting the sound quality. But once you have completed this you also will be amazed at the quality. And yes they sound 100% better in the water whilst your swimming than what they do out of it.
They seemed to charge better from my laptop as opposed to a wall charger. Go figure. Transferring songs was simple just drag n drop.
I 100% guarantee these are great. Good quality and do.exactly what you will want them to do.
Took a little time to work out the best fit for my ears so they wouldn't fall out while I swam, the "fin" piece helps keep them locked in and the "cone" piece helps keep water out of my ears! So I love that there was choices and mix and match options for the headphones.
The music sounds a little tinny/metalic when my head is out of the water, but once my head goes underwater it sounds better.
Love that I can add a whole bunch of music to the device, I don't use the bluetooth connection for anything.
Only improvements I can think of is the ability to pause and turn the sound up and down with a volume control by the earpiece (like a bose sound sport in-ear headphones), as I have to pull them out of my ears to explain to people at the pool what they are and say "yes they really work"! :)
Completely recommend these for people who want to listen to their music while they swim.
