was traveling and lost my original QC cord for my headset. Found this online here on Amazon, and it works perfectly. Glad I found it. works great, and now I dont have to worry about loosing another one, because I found a solution here. Music sounds great, and using the cord, it saves on battery life (due to BT). Long enough for it to reach my phone in my pocket, and wearing the Bose 35s.
Bought this based on reviews. This cable was to replace the lost cable for my Bose QC-25 headphones connected to my Kindle Fire. Disappointed that there's no audio to the right channel. If I wiggle the connector at the headset, I can get monaural from both sides, but what's the use of that?
UPDATE: Seller contacted me to say a replacement cable was on its way. It was delivered yesterday, and it works perfectly! Thanks for the quick response to my issue!!
So, my Bose Quiet Comfort wireless headset comes with this exact piece, but I've lost it twice. So, I bought this thing so I can plug it into the PS4 controller, and enjoy playing my videogames without being heard in every room (small house with sleeping kids). So, to my surprise, the quality is excellent. I bought two just becasue it's cheap enough and it's nice to have a back-up.
Great replacement for Sennheiser headphones. Much more convenient length than the original 10ft cable that comes with the headphones. No loss in sound quality and so far the integrity of the cable is high. No immediately visible failure in the jacket or connections after a few weeks of use.
My old Bose AE2 headphone cable frayed, and there was no way I was going to pay Bose $40+shipping for a replacement (seriously, that was the asking price).
If you find that you don't need the volume control or microphone, this is a great replacement. The end that connects to the phone is a solid plastic, not that weird rubbery stuff Bose uses. The sound quality is identical, and I'm very happy I purchased this, would definitely recommend.
I am using this cable for connecting a PLL-GPSDO GPS receiver to the auxiliary GPS (data) input of an ICOM IC-9700 tranceiver. It works. The tip terminal of the 9700's 2.5 mm connector is labeled TX and the ring terminal is labeled RX in the manual, but the tip is actually an input and the ring is the output. Usually, in RS-232 devices, TX is an output and RX is an input on all devices except modems (data set). Thus, connecting two terminal devices together requires a crossover cable that interchanges the TX and RX wires. I know this is confusing but this straight through cable works well.
Good cable if you misplaced or damaged your original Bose QC35ii cable. I wish Bose would have not used a mini connector then we wouldn't have to seek out these cables. Would have liked this cable to be a little beefier and higher quality, and not be so microphonic. The cable is very flexible and easy to work with.
I have gone through 3 different of the regular BOSE cables and one 3rd party. All of them broke. It would either break where the headphone would connect with the device or at the volume control. I gave up on that and decided to just use a regular cable now and I could not be happier.
This has now survived several international flights and use around the house. I am so happy I bought this and gave up on that regular BOSE cable.
