I have numerous pieces of test equipment for transistors (product description refers to as triodes which is really a vacuum tube), diodes, resistors, capacitors and inductors. They all need to be individually set up.
This unit is a case of inserting the component (in the correct slots) and switching on. It identifies the component and gives its various characteristics. I had considered designing and building such a unit around an Arduino, but this was simple to buy, has a built in rechargeable battery, carries out self checks and gives the results quickly. I can now concentrate on design and build, rather than sorting and valueing components. Great piece of kit and very portable.

Nella seconda foto mostro il socket zif per l'inserimento dei componenti da testare, davvero un ottimo tipo di socket visto che rispetto ai classici socket per componenti elettronici questo non stressa i piedini/pin del componente che andremo a testare, nella quinta foto possiamo notare la porta micro usb per la ricarica della batteria del tester e il led che indica lo stato della carica, nella sesta foto mostro il puntalino/sonda e il tipo di connettore utilizzato, sono molto simili alle sonde usate negli oscilloscopi e ne sono inclusi 3. I materiali e le plastiche sono di buona qualità, lo schermo è retroilluminato e sulla parte frontale del tester troviamo il pulsante d'accensione per accendere e testare i componenti, il socket zif e il sensore a infrarossi che ci permette di rilevare il segnare infrarossi di un telecomando o di un qualsiasi dispositivo infrarossi. Ho eseguito vari test di misurazione, prima di tutto ho effettuato due test utilizzando il led e il condensatore inclusi con il tester, successivamente ho testato due led normali e un led rgb(14esima foto), dopo aver testato i led sono passato ad un condensatore da 100nF, una resistenza da 470 ohm e ho anche misurato il segnale infrarossi di un telecomando utilizzato per dei led, dopo questi test sono passato a dei componenti un po' più complessi ed ho provato un transistor, un lettore infrarossi e un mosfet. Come è possibile notare dai vari test da me effettuati il tester è di buona qualità, davvero comodissimo visto che fa quasi tutto da solo e misura praticamente di tutto.

My tester was completely dead when it arrived. What happens is the computer inside crashes and there is no reset button. So what you need to do is remove the four screws and take the back off. Then disconnect the battery for a few seconds. When you reconnect the battery the computer will have reset and the tester works perfectly. Its a nice little gadget.
I already have one of these component teaters, assembled from kit form, which has worked well so far. However I wanted one which had an inbuilt battery with simple recharging capbility, and this seemed to offer the best option. I have not really tested this unit thoroughly, but what I have tested seems to be accurate. I would recommend this unit to others who are looking for the promised capabilities.
The internal li-ion cell was pathetic and almost dead on arrival, after a proper charge at 1c it wasnt any better. I didn't buy this one for the rechargeable nature though, there were other reasons. I also have some other lithium cells I can shove in it so not a great loss for the techy crowd this is aimed at.
Accuracy is rather variable. It's an acceptable ready reckoner for some functions though so it keeps four stars.
Excellent little gadget. I've only used it a few times. Bought it for a project but have not used it since lockdown. Quick shipping as always and would buy again.

J'ai deja trop d'équipements à base de pile 9V. Ici la batterie est intégrée, et se recharge par micro USB. Ensuite le kit est testable dès le déballage: la batterie est chargée, et 2 composants permettent de verifier qu'il fonctionne correctement. Pour ce qui est du principal (les mesures), c'est un indicateur qui fait gagner beaucoup de temps. La batterie semble tenir bon (je ne l'ai pas encore rechargée). Le manuel est en Anglais/Chinois, mais l'utilisation est vraiment simple: des broches numérotées et un bouton de test.
J'ai lu de mauvais commentaires sur la fiabilité. Pour le moment je l'utilise tous les soirs depuis une semaine et tout se passe bien. Le produit a dû être mis à jour.
En definitive, je recommande !

Bought for quick checking of small components like resistors and capacitors and found it does transistors too! Great little device. Haven't tried the IR decoder yet but that looks like being useful too.
I love this tester. I wish this was around when I was learning about electronics.it not only checks the components but it will identify them and give you pin outs. I keep this within easy reach of my bench so I can check all components before I fit them.
Lives up to its claims. On arrival tested a known value resistor and was 1ohm off. It is more convenient and versatile than higher priced models. With the above degree of accuracy couple with its versatility an all round good buy.
