I installed this for an elderly couple, and it is great for them. The screen is large and bright, and the night vision is very good, so they can easily see who is at their door. This is NOT the WiFi-connected version, it's just a wire going from the doorbell/camera to the monitor. Simple and relatively easy to install. BE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Especially if you are using a CAT-5 or 6 cable from the doorbell to the monitor, (instead of a flat one), because the wires need to be attached in a certain order to avoid the ones carrying the power causing interference.
All in all it has been great. My only small complaint is that the icons didn't all make sense to my elderly friends. I ended up taping a little label that says "TALK" over the icon of the unhooked telephone.
I got this product and installed it on my front door. It was working fine, but after a few weeks a static noise appeared when someone rang the doorbell or selected the talk button. I contacted the manufacturer and they have kept me busy for months now making troubleshooting videos of the problem, but they haven't been able to fix it. They asked me to try different cables short, long, relocate the monitor away from the door bell, etc, and every time I send them a video they ask for another test. Maybe I got bad luck with this one but it is useless. Also, there was another problem with the pictures, I get some kind of corrupted pictures now and then, so I tried to erase all the pictures, but all 100 pictures reappear every time I delete them. Not happy with the purchase.
