pros - bluetooth - very compact device and has a built in clip, clip it anywhere - supplied arm strap is adjustable and has a hi-vis strip if you running at night - mp3 clips on to arm band easily - controls straightforward - has other function such as e book etc
It had no video functionality and limited photo viewing. After two weeks working, it showed a "lock" symbol and wouldn't function at all. Would not reset or power on/off. I returned it and awaiting my refund. Rubbish!
*edit: so now that I've actually attempted to utilize it with my bluetooth earbuds for the gym, I'm probably going to return this thing. It only allows you to connect ONE bluetooth device at a time. So...listen to music via ONE bluetooth ear bud. Or use a wired headset. Unless someone can inform me of how to use my set?
It's an okay little device. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. It's very flimsy plastic....feels like it's totally hollow and I could crush it with too much pressure on the buttons. Also, can only have 3 playlists and cannot figure out how to rename each of them, if it's even an option. The instruction booklet lacks sufficient detailed instructions...but the point more or less gets across.
Great battery life, the clip is very sturdy, sounds good for such a small device. BUT, after you add albums to it, it will arrange the songs in alphabetical order, and not in the original order the songs are arranged in the albums. All my files are properly tagged and have the correct metadata. I've only seen this happen with this device, this is an absolute deal-breaker. Look for another device that has the ability to play songs in albums as intended. One would think that this is a basic function that every mp3 player should have right out of the box, but not this.
Nice small unit for using in palm while mowing lawn still able to steer and pull levers BUT Bluetooth transmitter is very weak, I turned it upside down on my leg (LCD against my leg, clip up) and placed my hand over while i was sitting down and immediately noticed its enough to stop signals to receiver and will stop playing audio until I remove myhand, second issued. Used recommenced software, I also added external card, it has no problems writing to external card I are d, but when writing in internal memory I keep getting errors says I disconnected it when it was never disconnected. Not sure what's up with that I'll try other software later. This one doesn't look like I can add external memory and format it into one big drive. I Miss My old Sandisk, but it didn't have Bluetooth so I tried this.
When transferring files to the mp3 player it arbitrarily loses the connection. You then need to disconnect the player, reconnect it and let Windows repair the mp3 player drive after which one can transfer more files until the connection gets lost again. The file being transferred when disconnected get corrupted on the player. The BS forces one to do small batches of files. Note that I'm using Windows 10, tried different USB cables and don't experience this issue with other MP3 players.
I love the size and it has a clip. What is irritating is that it will not work in my car and using an aux cord doesnt allow me to control the device from my steering wheel. I really don't want to reach over for the player if I want to skip a song. Oh well. I will just buy my old one again. This device is definitely a downgrade.
I don’t like that it doesn’t play all my albums one after another, continuously. It’s like a CD player; you pick one album at a time, and that’s all it plays, then you have to pick another one. I prefer my old ones that would play all albums, one after another. Also, it didn’t sync to my Bluetooth earbuds. I’m sending it back. It does hold a ton of songs, but I don’t like that it doesn’t play everything without me having to choose each album separately.
Finding it more than difficult to connect my truly wireless earbuds to connect to this Unit. I have tried my AirPods as well as other brands of wireless earbuds, without much success. Sometimes, the earbuds will not connect at all, even if the Unit recognizes the earbuds. Other times, I can only get one earbud (the left) to connect. Will give it some additional tries, but if unsuccessful, I will most likely return the mp3 player. Shame because I really like that it has the clip which makes it easier to exercise while using the Unit.
The overall unit works fine while the battery is actually working - mine stopped holding a charge after a few months of use. When reaching out to the seller, I got a form response with a few things to try... useless - otherwise fully unresponsive to my replies AGTEK has also not replied to my emails looking for warranty service. One year warranty is what they claim... hello?
