The book is interesting to read the techniques but the pages should be reversed. You should be able to paint on the right side of the book not the left. I have tried propping books under and taping it too them but they do not stay flat. I don’t want to have to cut the pages out because the instructions on the back are for the next painting exercise.
If I had know that I could not print it I would not have buy it. Livre probablement très chouette mais c’est un livre à colorier à l’aquarelle. Inutile en version Kindle puisqu’on ne peut l’imprimer ...
The Kindle version of this book is *awful*. The images are super tiny - so tiny you can't see them, much less see the details. You can blow them up bigger if you click on them, but then you can't see the instructions. It makes it impossible to follow along to complete the paintings. I really, really, really wanted this book but I didn't get around to reading it within 7 days (because I have 3 kids), so now I can't return it to get the paper copy instead. Super disappointed.
I am so tired of publishers who will sign on anyone with a social media following for a book deal like this. This book is literally like going through a book written by someone trying to figure out how to watercolor. Forget about painting on the pages, no, you will need to transfer the images onto watercolor paper using a light box, however, the illustrations are of such poor quality, they are not even worth the cost of the book. I'm sorry to be so harsh, but if I wanted to learn from a blogger, I would go to their blog and access their content that way. This was not a book created by an established artist/teacher/author. I should have done more due diligence. The cover was very, very misleading.
