To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I haven't tested the fireproof capabilities for obvious reasons. I also haven't tested whether it is actually waterproof bc I'm lazy and I honestly didn't think about it. The overall feel is flimsy and thin. I dk if the money bags you get from the bank are supposed to be fire and waterproof, but if you know what those feel like, this one feels more thin and flimsy. The zipper looks to be a cheap plastic as well. I ordered a manilla envelope bag along with this. It is a different brand. It is much thicker, more sturdy, and has several other attributes that seem like they would hold up better. If I order another, it will be one those.
I've looked at numerous youtube videos that put so-called Fireproof bags in a fire. The overwhelming consensus of these videos is UNFAVORABLE. None of the bags protected paper from burning to a crisp. I have no intention of using my bag to "protect" anything.
