I have a Dell and a Macbook laptops. The Windows Laptop is connected to a large screen 24/7. Mac is the one I use when I move around, so I wanted to have a stand which can hold 2 different size of laptops and easy to pick up and place.
This product is perfectly match with my requirement and it comes with a spare screw, too.
Perfect design for holding two laptops of difference sizes. Very sturdy, well engineered and looks stylish on the desk. Only very small negative was it was little finicky to adjust the slot sizes for the laptops, but once I got it right it was set and forget.
This stand looks very sleek and has a good weight to it. I saw some reviewers complain about the edges scratching their laptop edges when inserting into the stand(I’m not so careless) but to avoid this happening to me I bought plastic shells for the laptops to avoid any scratches on the laptop edges during insertion. The stand is also adjustable for different laptop sizes so I simple adjusted them to fit the laptops snug with the protective shells on. It works amazingly and looks even better than it functions. The space grey color doesn’t perfectly match apples space grey but close enough for me. I would highly recommend this stand to anyone who has more than one laptop and likes the vertical look. Oh and the price is great compared to other vertical stands like the Arc which costs 50 bucks and only holds a single laptop!
It seems several companies are using the same wholesale supplier for these vertical laptop stands, so this review should be useful for them all (JARLINK, OMOTON, VOGEK, OKEMEEO, DIOCALL, iQUNIX, NOLYTH, etc).
Even if three colors are provided, the Grey/Gray is not Apple's Space Gray, nor is it Apple's silver. Attached photo shows silver and space gray MacBook Pros.
Also, the padding inside the dock is fine, but there is none on the edges. Placing a laptop in and out of the dock risks rubbing the metals against one-another. Not a problem if you have a case for your laptop.
Completely cleaned up my desk. I use my Surface Pro more as a desktop now than a laptop so I used to just lay it flat on my desk, which took a lot of room. Now, along with my iPad, it gets its own place without taking up much surface area. Product feels solid, sturdy, and weighted well.
I am having trouble finding a way to contact support / the seller due to the fact the 30 day return window has passed. Can someone from the sellers customer support team please contact me ASAP it would be much appreciated. With that being said - I originally had the single laptop stand and was so satisfied with it that I realized I was be a dummy for not getting the 2 laptop slot stand... so I made the switch. But this a poor and bad mistake because it is not safe to have two computers stored - while 1 is being used / active because there is poor air circulation. Luckily I caught this before any real damage was done but screen coloring the far left edge of my new apple macbook pro screen has been "damaged" due to overheating and now has a yellow pigment. Thankfully it is only a small area. Note - the company does warn you about this and makes clear that airflow is important - especially because the stand is very strong and sturdy so make sure to pay attention to your computers temp. (also - please do not forget to support from the sellers team reach out)
I work from home, and my desk was quickly becoming a mess. I have a couple laptops from work, and this is great! I wish I had something like this years ago!! I like that it’s adjustable, and it’s padded. You can put laptops, iPads, tablets, or your phone in this. These are nicely weighted so they won’t shift around easily.
If you want to take your desk back, this is a great start.
