To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
We did have to wait for this for far longer than was advertised when we bought it but it was worth the wait once it arrived. I can't fault the product but the anticipated delivery date was about a month out, hence the 3 star review.
The hue play colour is good, and it’s really quite a nice addition to an existing system, although if you don’t have an existing system I wouldn’t say they can do the job on lighting up your home on there own, I would definitely recommend getting a minimum of two as they suit each other when used together, if only using one it can look a little odd aesthetically. The colour variety is very good and it’s app is extremely easy to use and can create a cool scene in your house.
We bought two of these that are positioned behind the tv. It brings a great ambience to the room, you can select the colours and brightness on the app. When we are watching sky sport news we have one on red and the other blue. When watching a film we turn the main room lights off and have a low yellow/gold light. There is an app you can download that has the lighting for that particular film which is good.
Excellent product. Very well made and slick. Brought this to add to my Phillips Hue collection as a back light for the TV. Looks great. If I’m picky, Very slightly disappointed with the size, looks bigger at a glance in the picture, however still projects good light.
I bought it to mount it on top of my screen so I can use it to lighten my face when videocalling. It works great! Since the light is spread across the bar, it doesn't blind you while still having a source of light directly pointing at you.
