These are so cute but when I received them I’m missing a cap for one of them. I can’t return them for a replacement because they’re for a loot bag for a bday party this weekend. So that’s disappointing.
For the price, they are cute pens and might be nice for an addition to child's goodie bag at Birthday parties. 7 of the pens did not work at all, others are "scratchy" when they write and yet others write quite nicely. My guess is they won't last long as a few that I have tried seem to be drying out already. The caps are absolutely adorable, though and the "clip" part on the back looks like a cat's tail. Guess I can keep the lids and line them up on something.....
I love pens. I love fine rollerball pens. These seemed like a great purchase, a great grab bag of Japanese pens. Instead of Sencoo, however, the ones that arrived were branded Aihao, though identical to the image otherwise. Some handle like a Bic Z4, some handle like a Pilot Precise. But none could maintain a solid inkline like either of those pens, suffering from stuttering and random vacations. VERY frustrating. At first it seemed like it was just a specific style, but quickly it was apparent all suffered from similar issues. In addition, there were bizarre mixups like a blue pen filled with red ink. Not a real issue, as the red inks seemed more reliable than the black. Some, like the 47820, felt hefty but performed terribly from the start, while others like the 8049 felt cheap but performed well...for a little while.
You'd be better off buying fewer, higher quality pens. Look into the Pilot HI-TEC for what I consider to be the apex.
I like how fine the writing is, but compared to the non-erasable version of this pen… doesn’t compare. It writes so light that people have been mistaking it for pencil. It does erase well, but it’s inconvenient that the eraser is a tiny little separate object. I still use them because I’m in the medical field and have to fill out a lot of paper forms using pen, and if I make a mistake I can’t use white out, I have to start over… but frixion erasable pens are a lot better. Especially the Japanese fine clickable ones, because they are nearly as fine as these but the ink is much darker and erase well.
I bought these pens several months ago for my daughter because they are just super cute. And then when they arrived I tried one and had to buy a pack for myself. The way these pens write and the way the ink interacted with the paper was amazing. It quickly became my favorite pen! I used every pen until I was completely out and then went to buy another pack. I love them so much that I bought two packs, anticipating their frequent use. I went to use the pen this morning and the ink was really blotchy and the quality was awful. I opened the pen to check the ink and saw that they had changed the filler from what had previously been used. I checked every pen and it is consistent with all of them. I am super disappointing. They went from being my all time favorite pen to ones that will just sit around the house.
Kinda cheap - the pen is not as sturdy when you press down. It doesn’t have the satisfying stable feel when the point touches the paper. Kinda wobbly. But cute! I would probably put these in a cheap gift bag thing for kids or something, but not as a note writing pen. Also, would not be comfortable to hold when writing for longer periods of time.
There is no way of telling, I'd swear that there is only enough ink in the refills to write one sheet of college ruled paper, as I'm a full-time student and have went through three refills in a weekend. Hmmmm
I didn't get a lot of designs that were in the picture for this product. I get to not rely on picture alone for purchasing things on the internet, duh, but they didn't explain or log each characteristic pen so I figured what I see I get. That's not true. I can bet you I was even given some that weren't in that picture. I think Amazon should crack down on people just throwing things together to make a buck.
