I had this flash light for a few days now. I personally like how sturdy it and high quality construction. It is also very versatile.
It takes the 18650 battery which gives the flash light more then enough power to last a long time. But what has happen to me in my job. It's that we would have a power shutdown lasting multiple hours. While we work in the dark. It comes also with a battery casing that allows you to put three triple A batteries. Awesome for when I am unable to recharge in the field.
The USB charging is also good. Since I do carry around a portable battery bank. I can charge the flashlight on my downtime.
Lastly I love the study metal construction. There has been many times when I drop things. And fear of damaging or destroying it. They way this is constructed it came take a beating and keep on working
I also forgot to mention it also has 5 modes which I like. Since I am use to headlights it is great to have them on the flashlight and SoS incase of emergencies.

Great LED Rechargeable Flashlight

Amazing flashlight. I was very happy to find this portable usb recharegeable flashlight. Not only is it easy to charge convenient, but its ability to light up the entire backyard or focus on a small area are terrific.The flashlight is powered by either 3 x AAA batteries or 1 x 18650 batteries, which I put in mine. The perfect flashlight for home and travel. The strobe and SOS features are a nice bonus.
Light was as described. Relatively bright. The adjustment from spot light to area illumination works well. Accessories that came with the light were very nice. Three ways of charging. I liked the way you can charge the light with the battery in the light.
My favorite night dog walking light. Switch not on rear of flashlight. Have had trouble with the ones with switch on rear of light. Also stays on light only. A lot of lights have features that you have to hit button 5 times to turn off running thru all the features. Just wanted adjustable lens, Bright light that is led. This is it. Runs on AAA batteries or rechargeable battery either one has good time on use. Has other accessories that I haven't used yet. LIke it a lot!

Rechargeable, all in one sturdy box!

This flashlight is sturdy and has so many more options than I've ever seen on a flashlight. I like that it has the ability to zoom in the light or be more wide. I also like that it is rechargeable and has a car charger as well. Not much worse than batteries dying and can't find any. Having everything in one case keeps it all together and less chance of getting lost. We're adding this to our camping gear which will definitely come in handy and won't take up too much space. Flashlight came charged up and all of the chargers worked great for it.
Rechargeable and 900 lumens was the selling point for me. The CREE lights are very bright when focused and shines about 10-12 houses down the street. Spotlight mode is also very bright. Whether for self defense, or just to have around the house, this was a good rechargeable flashlight purchase. Weight-wise the light is about as heavy as most other tactical flashlights. No complaints.
12 MONTH UPDATE (MAY2020): DOWN ONE STAR, 5 to 4. Flashlight held strong for almost a year, until the internals and soft rubber push button to turn flashlight off/on broke apart. So the internal plastic near the base of the bulb got loose to the point where it blocks the round hole that the charger cord plugs into. Then I had to purchase a battery charger for the big single battery inside and recharge manually everytime. A few weeks later the rubber bumper on the on/off switch kept mis-positioning itself until the rubber to where I had to press really hard or try and slide it around..... finally it just fell off. So, now I have to use a small screwdriver to depress the button to go through the modes. Overall, the flashlight still functions but not conveniently. It is now a backup sitting on my workshop bench. LED light still very very strong.
No moment switch takes stars off the review. Must click all of the way through. Great adjustable lens. Love that part - from wide to super narrow (with a weird square shape). Must click through the cycle and no moment switch and no memory makes it not even close to be usable as a tactical light. Great for walking the dogs. Battery life too short for night hiking or bicycling. Comes with a lot of accessories.
Weird glitch: when the battery is low, the switch appears to click through all of the different patterns/light levels on its own. Issue disappears after a recharge. Also annoyed that it's a small pin plug for recharging so you have to have the one cable you have to charge it, unlike my other rechargeables which have micro USB. Nice touch that the charging cable illuminates a different color when fully charged.
