I am very disappointed. I bought this backup camera set. And after a couple of month the camera stopped working I changed the power supply with a multi meter and it has good power. But the camera will not turn on anymore. I contacted Amazon chat and they informed me I will need to contact the company but unfortunately there seems to be no way to contact them. I am very disappointed.

What a terrible experience!
I installed this camera on a 26 ft trailer that I tow with Honda Pilot, so the total distance is about half of advertised 60 ft.
The video was very jittery, it felt like I was looking at 3-4 frames per second. Also it came at significant delay, like when I stop at a traffic light - the back of the trailer on monitor was still moving. Or the car that shows up on monitor at the back of the trailer is actually already passed me. The signal strength was always fluctuate from lowest to highest , even lost a signal a few times for a second or so. Also my Oakley polarized glasses turns the monitor off, yes you can not see the picture with the polarized glasses on!
Will be returning this product and looking for better one.

This camera is unsafe and could end up causing an accident! While the rearview camera takes clear pictures, it is not a smooth-running video. It seems to be more of a stop-action or time-lapse view. I purchased the rearview camera to help me see what’s behind/beside me when switching lanes with my camper on the highway. What I found, when I took it out for the first time, due to the time-lapse view, it would show me a vehicle approaching 20 - 30 ft. behind my camper, when it was really passed my camper and even with the back of my truck. The system is not only useless for towing, but dangerous. I had to turn it off and go back to relying on my side view mirrors. I am going to try to return this but the company is hard to reach.

Nonexistent customer service

I purchased this system because of the reviews that claimed great customer service. When I received the product there was only one email address for customer service, and that came back as a non-working email address. I did find another email address online that seemed to work, but got no reply. I have no idea where people came up with the idea that customer service even exists. When I tested this "made in china" system I found that some features we're simply not working; at least the screen was non-responsive to the directions that I tried to give it. Even though I had enough time to return the product, I (maybe stupidly) choose to keep it because I only wanted a simple system and installation, and the camera and screen did work perfectly for what I wanted, and there was no interference with the 40' distance, or the trailer blocking the visual route of the signal. If you are looking for a system where all the "features" really work, I'd skip this system. If the company does contact be because of this review and does explain why I had this very poor experience, then I will post an amended review, so if you see no amendment, you'll know that they simply do not care about customer service; a typical "made in China" product.

Well I feel duped…we bought this when we bought our new to us motorhome. We left on a trip from Arizona to Illinois sadly before we were through Texas it had stopped working and of course it was past the window of returning. We bought another and didn’t have time to install so after a month on the road we installed the new one and the monitor on that one didn’t work either…just lines. Sadly for us the last day to return was yesterday so we now have over $300.00 in useless back up camera systems. Don’t waste your money people. My son in law had the same one and his also quit working after a short time on the road. Garbage equipment

Melted my RV wiring 😡

I would love to write about how this camera worked but unfortunately when we plugged it into the Furrion prewiring it shorted everything out and melted the coating around our RV wiring. So I absolutely do NOT recommend this camera as this has now caused major damage to my RV due to a lack of quality control by the manufacturer of this camera.
As far as ease of install, I also purchased the bracket with the included pigtail wiring from this same company and everything plugged in easily.
I will just order the firrion camera once I get my RV wiring repaired because there is no way I am risking this issue happening again!

This seems to be a top notch system. Easy to install. Great picture. The bonus that I didn’t realize was I can have an extra camera. My request was recognized within a couple hours. Impressive.
Now that I have TRIED to use this on a trip I am not impressed Worked on day one but picture is dark and wouldn't lighten up. Next morning I went to take off and the monitor said no signal I tried everything in the book but no deal. After messing with this piece of crap two more times I give up Would return it but the time to do so is past/

Simple set it, but doesn’t work at highway speeds

I was more than excited to get this camera installed before our vacation. My father in law and I were able to get it installed very simply without any troubles. The picture quality was great and there wasn’t much lag time at all...... while parked.
The next day we started off on our trip and the camera performance was decent until I hit highway speeds and I lost total signal. I was unable to use the camera as a safety feature liked I was hoping and for that I am very disappointed. My monitor is only about 50 feet from the camera so i shouldn’t be having any trouble. But, here we are.
As far as set up time, this was incredibly easy for someone that isn’t much of a handy man. But, when the product doesn’t work, it’s a no go for me.

Frustrating !!!!!!!!

I have to start off by saying I am not the most computer literate user however I can usually bumble my way around most anything and get satisfactory results...not so with this. I installed and checked as per instructions..everything seemed fine while the camera and reciever were a few feet from one another. I put the camera according to the confusing translated imstructions on my 20' cargo trailer and had connectivity issues. I emailed them and was sent the 7db antenna which did not stick with the magmet to ,y aluminum roof. RTV silicone adhered it just on front of the roof vent as did the cable back across the roof to the camera. Still lousy conmectivity. Camera cuts out constantly . Again it could be my not understandimg exactly how to pair it or setting something correct. It would be immensely helpful of someone who actually had a command of the english language would write simple clear imstructions...I do not speak nor do I care to learn any asain language. If you want to do buisness with us , at least learn our language as I believe tnis is probably 50% of the issue. I really want this stupid thing to work so I dont back over some dumb kid or wreck my trailer...
Anyone else have these technical problems ? Any of you Americans out there who would volinteer to help me out getting this to work would be appreciated.

Misleading & Poor Customer Service

Both the photos and the description make it appear as though the adapter for the furrion is included. It is not! The part number they refer to once you discover you have to purchase it separately does not exist. Their instructions must be watched online, they aren't included. However, once you go to look for those videos, they don't exist. Plus ones that are for similar cameras by Amtifo don't show how to install it on the RV, just how to test and pair it with the monitor. Their customer service is non-existent. You're supposed to be able to claim a free accessory, however they have never responded to the email they require you to send. On top of that, I have tried to contact customer service regarding the aforementioned installation troubles, and have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone or having anyone get back to me. I'm currently sitting on a camera a that can no longer be returned, has never been used, and can't be installed on my RV because the bracket apparently doesn't exist.
