The unit broke down on me the second time using it as the speed setting in 2 does not work as that the only high speed setting the unit has. for some unknown reason, when I was using it, had noticed a small noise and the unit dropped in power to only 1 setting and would not go up anymore. I thought maybe it was due to be overheating as was using it a bit that day and turned it off to cool down. I did not turn it back on until the next day as it was well and truly cooled down. As I turned it on it did not work in the 2 speed setting only one. Pretty crap as I had an old one just the same that had set speed from 1-6 and head if or well over two years with no problem until engine broke down so guess it had its time. Brought this one and was very disappointed. But guess what I don't really think there is anything you can do for me so not really expecting anything in return. merry Xmas.
