The handles are rough, sanded to prevent blisters. My project uses a water-based stain/sealer. It destroys natural brushes so these synthetic brushes seemed useful. I have used synthetic brushes with this stain and have been able to clean the brushes several times, but not these. I cleaned the brush immediately after use and thought it was ready for the next day's use. Nope, the brush was so gummed-up that it had to be trashed, hence the one-use title. Good thing I bought a case of these and hope I can complete the project in less days than the number of brushes in the box.
Not great brushes! Though I have repurchased multiple times for their cost. I typically don't have a place to clean my brushes after use. Though these leave bristles behind, don't hold much paint or dispense paint evenly I will continue to purchase them for my needs
They arnt the wore but not the best. They tend to shed which is not good for me when im painting detailed peices. Nothing is worse then finding a paint brush hair on the canvas or wood then removing it only to ruin the piece. As long asbyou can deal with a few sheds this will work out fine.
These are not professional quality. The bristals are very thin and separate while painting. If you are looking for a cheap set of throw away paint brushes to paint a wall these are a good value. Other than that id reccomend just buying the Lowe's or Homedepot brand. I gave it a 3 star because I only needed them for one job and I was able to get it done with only a few bucks.
The brush worked fine the first few times, after a while, I noticed it began to leave bristles on the fresh paint. It is good for small jobs, but if you plan to use it for a bigger job or many times it is not the best.
