This product works and I hate it. I got this to try and find the smell coming from the bathroom my 12yo boy used, I've scrubbed the tiles and grout and just couldnt get rid of it. I was horrified when shining the light in the bathroom to discover the extent that urine had splashed onto the walls over the years, and now I can see where i need to target cleaning. Recommend getting one if you have boys in the house with poor aim, but dont recommend having boys in the house 😂
Worth it for the money. It is only a UV torch not a flashlight. Originally bought to see what insects we could find in the garden but my 9yr old uses it more in the house at night time to illuminate everything in the house. Very, very cool. Things look very different in UV light. And yes it does show up every stain, fluff, dust etc in your carpets etc. Haha. Did not like it for that..
Best black torches I've bought. In the past, I had purchased in local store they constantly filed or circuitry smelled burnt but these work perfectly straight out of the box. They came with AAA batteries which was time saver.
I love being able to find missed sprays of cat pee on the floor and wall. Yes, my beautiful big Birman boy has territorial issues with my female Birman, and I need to find the missed bits when I clean to stop the smell! It needs to be quite dark for the torch to illuminate the pee, but it works well
I purchased this torch for the main purpose of finding pet urine on furniture and other household items. In the dark this torch is brilliant at showing up the urine. It can be difficult to stop cats from spraying but this torch detects it then you can treat the section with deterrent liquid spray. All in all an excellent product shipped promptly and carefully by Amazon.
I'm a fiction writer and just wanted to know what an UV torch would show. It was cool to see things in a different way. What I really liked was the interest my kids showed (and continue to) in how it lets them literally view the world in a different light.
