I can’t say that this book specifically stood out more than the others in the series or in the RA series, what I’m trying to say is that the whole series is great and I often preferred reading it to watching content online which is not normal for me.
If wishes were horses beggars would ride. Or another saying, if wishes were fishes we wouldn’t have to work. But man would we stink! I’m just saying that many horses or fishes would produce an unbearable smell. Gilly and her friends learned this lesson the hard way. She and Maxine ended up standing in muck after their wishes went awry.
I am sad to say this series is declining and in how enjoyable it is. The first book was fun and had a lot of mischief, Jax was a big character, and there was less magic. Now Gilly’s reformed (no mischief!) Jax has about three sentences, and there’s so much magic it’s bothering me. I hope the next book will be a turnaround, but I doubt it.
I really love this series but this book was a dissapointment to me and not my favorite. Maxine got on my nerves more than once and I did not like how Jax and Kayla were not at al important in this book at all. I hope the next one will be like the other books in the series, fun and entertaining.
