So far so good. Decent capacity and the best sound quality for lap swimming after years of trials and disappointments. Much better than the waterproofed ipod shuffles I've been using. Some quirkiness with file loading and file adjustments. Update - after less than 6000 yds swam total failure - cannot recommend
At first: much better sound than the competition. Easy to set up, and comfortable to wear, too. But after ten uses, it has become un-usable. Cannot add anything. Crashes when attached to computer if I try to transfer a file to it. Only has a fraction of all it could hold onboard. Refuses to load anything else. Useless information online. Returned the first, got a second that is also, if differently, totally defective. This one does not, did not ever, load. It is simply unusable. Such a waste of time.
Didn't quite last six months, an hour, every-other day. But, the sound was good. Very disappointing after spending so much time/effort downloading music. Fortunately, as usual, Amazon made a full refund. I ordered same item again.
Update: Replacement arrived. After several failed attempts to get computer to recognize device, realized the cable wasn't working. Scrounged up another cable that worked. Downloaded a couple songs and tested. Music transferred fine, but the VOLUME control didn't work. Sheesh. Will try another brand.
Second one the same thing. Won't register on my windows or my other computer - I've never had an issue with any mp3 player. I've been using mp3 players in this way since probably 2003 non stop so before these guys try to make it seem like I'm some sort of novice let's get that out of the way... This thing is just defective all around. No way I could have 2 units and neither registers.
I've had nothing but problems with this MP3 player from the day I bought it! I think the device is fully charged and when I go swimming I hear about 5 seconds of music and then it quits! I have let the MP3 player charge overnight and still get the 5 seconds of music and the device shuts off! Seems like the MP3 player just will not take a full charge!
I only used this MP3 Player 5 times and it stopped working. I clipped it in my bathing suit strap and kept my head out of the pool. I floated around so it really didn’t get submerged entirely. I am really disappointed because the sound was good but it didn’t last long. After doing some investigation I found the wire that went to the ear phones was faulty. I was lucky I accidentally found the problem because I have no electrical skills.
I bought this to play audio books while I swim. I found the device to be good if you're just listening to random songs that you download, but the audio book files just get stacked as successive mp3s and there no way to find out what track you're listening to. I anyone knows a way around this please LMK. I think this has to go back. :-(
Bought one and it failed after one week. Got a return item it lasted about a week. What a waste of time and money. Do not buy this product! It has ok sound but for the price you only get a bout a weeks worth of product. Tested it twice will not buy again. Buyer be ware!
