To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Up top, I want to warn about a software bug I found on this device. When you load an album that has 10 (or more) songs, the tracks will be listed and played in this order: 1 10 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9. The software is sorting the songs by the track number tag, but is sorting that field as if it were text instead of a number.
Other than that, this player is... fine. I'd be happy enough with it for my kid if it didn't have this issue. But when he cues up a Disney soundtrack or something, he (and I) would expect the songs to play in order.
I am writing this review on several such models (from different brands, no less) that all seem to have this same bug. Hopefully I will find my son an mp3 player that will work properly.
We've had it for only a few weeks and now the speaker has started to distort the sound as if the volume was blasting but we have it turned down to 10 and can barely hear it. Only when the song gets louder can you hear a buzzing and distorted sound. The speakers were poor to begin with but to be expected in a small device. Also I can't seem to edit the playlists. I'd like to have a night time Playlist my son can listen to as well as a more upbeat one, it seems to only play all the music uploaded. Cute and fairly easy to operate, but disappointed in the speakers.
It is good robust MP3 player for kids but need to improved the sound quality of inbuilt speaker and User interface. The sound track does not play in continuation and does not play full length for long track.
