My m65 mouse failed after a year. I opened a case with Corsair, got an RMA, paid for shipping to send my mouse. They received it, approved the replacement and then my case got stuck before the final « shipped » step. After over a month, i asked for an update, they said they were transfering my case to customer support but no one will answer. My ticket is in limbo and i lost a mouse and the money of the insured shipping to send it to them. I’m really deceived by Corsair’s customer service and cannot recommend buying this product because of this.
After 2 months of using this mouse, the left click started to fail, sometimes it just won't register. Plugged in my old logitech to see if it was my PC, but everything was fine with the logitech mouse. Made some quick search on the Corsair forum and it seems that the missclicking is a frequent problem corsair users have. Don't buy this gen of mouse! It's a shame because the ergonomic is great and the mouse is really lightweight.
Avoid this mouse it has a very high risk of the left click button failing and not registering, would take me sometimes 8 clicks for it to do anything, corsair knows of the issue and refuses to acknowledge that it has one, this was my 3rd and final mouse of th same kind in less then 1 year only lasts 2-3 months then goes to crap if you don't believe me check the forums, other then that major flaw it was good while it worked.
the old version before this one had it, and I have hd 4 m65 mice over the last 2or 3 years
Originally I wanted to order the Corsair Glaive RGB mouse. After reading the reviews on the M65 it seemed like a sure winner. To my dismay I was not pleased with the unit. Its appearance and build is very nice, it is a corsair after all. However ergonomically its big and I found it uncomfortable in some aspects. The real upset with this unit was the fact the aluminum housing has edges underneath the mouse. It was actually dragging across my Corsair RGB mouse pad with a great deal of resistance. Enough I was worried about it damaging my lovely mouse pad. I read some forums online and this is not a new issue with this mouse. Also, the side buttons would not stay bound to actions while gaming. All in all I was not happy with the units performance and sent it back to amazon. I then purchased a Logitech G502 and could not be happier with the G502.
Well I have always been a Logitech mouse and keyboard guy but after being blown away with my "CORSAIR K95 RGB PLATINUM Mechanical Gaming Keyboard" Amazing Keyboard I thought I would try there mice. Picked up the "Corsair M65 RGB Elite Tunable FPS Gaming Mouse, Black, Backlit RGB LED, 18000 DPI, Optical" I found the grip took time to get used to but the thing that has turned me of is the left mouse button didn't even last a year I have never in my 30 years of Pc gaming ever have a Logitech mouse fail on me guess im going back to Logitech :)
Bought this for my son at Christmas. Had to RMA it in March. Did another RMA on that one in August but should have done it sooner. Problem is the left mouse button; the most used button. It clicks, but the click doesn't register until you press harder. Causes all kinds of havoc when click'n'dragging or playing games. Found lots of reports in forums about this problem well after the fact. I'm done with it and we bought a Roccat Kain 120 AIMO.
Mouse stopped working within 3 weeks of purchase (mouse not being detected on any computer, cursor not moving, no lights on the mouse are turned on). Otherwise the mouse worked perfectly fine before it broke. I've had the first model of the M65 for 4 years before it started bugging out, so I was hoping I would get the same longevity with this mouse. I'll be sending my product in for replacement, and hopefully the next mouse is better!
Upgraded from a really old mouse that i loved, A Rat-5, which was an incredible mouse, but i kept getting double click issues. Spent the past few days adjusting to this one, I cant say its bad, feels ok in the hand (still prefer my Rat-5). Anyway, I have a lot of corsair products, and have been quite pleased with their products, but after a few days of owning this one, im already having left click issues. My clicks dont always register, when it happens, sometimes it doesnt register 3 clicks in a row. hopefully the replacement is a bit better in quality! Edit: After getting the replacement, a few months later, its still back to the faulty left click, and occasionally the middle click as well. Bad Mouse, STAY AWAY. Dropped from 2 star to 1 star.
