I only had this a couple of days and at first it was great, good sound, all worked well. I was very happy with it. But, now the CD is rattling inside making a clicking sound that I can hear even with the earphones. Very annoying. It does it with all CDs, and stops if I turn it sideways, but clicks much of the time when it's flat. It comes and goes but can be heard clearly. With all the good reviews and description of the player I expected better. Overall, it does work, it plays, so not worth the trouble to return the thing , and I threw away the box anyway. Would not buy again.
This is not a car CD. It does not work through my speakers even with an aux cable that I paid for separately nor does it work through my USB port that I use to play music through a flash drive! Do not buy this and make the same mistake I made.
I am changing my review to 3 stars because the company was very responsive and refunded me my money after hearing I could not use the CD player in the manner in which I intended to.
Got this for use in my car, as described. However, in the directions it says not to expose to sun or hot temperatures. This clearly means not leaving it in my car, so now it's either don't use it or carry it in and out of the car. Really miss having a CD player in my car. This was not as good a solution as I had hoped for. The sound quality was fine.
I listen to audio books while walking. Skipping feature is only mediocre, so far. ..it skips. I’m STILL trying to figure out how to pick up where I left off...important when listening to books! I’ve read the instructions several times and only have very limited success with that. Would suggest the little buttons be made in different colors from casing...tough to see when using. Sound is very good. Size is good...bought the suggest belt and it works very well.
i bought this 10 weeks ago to play in my car - it's terrible to buy a luxury car which now doesn't offer the option of playing cd's! some of us still like doing that! so i plug it into the car - and the sound comes through the speakers, which is great! the problem is the 'pause' and 'stop' buttons on the top of the player itself stopped working after a month. so i have to turn the player off with the on/off switch on the side. 'fast forward' and 'fast back' buttons also sluggish but still working. it's not very expensive and i can make it work - but surprised at the buttons' short life span!
This CD player works. It does everything as described. My main issue is the poor quality of the sound reproduction. As soon as I start playing, I hear a hiss that reminds me of ADD recordings and of my old cassette tapes. I am comparing it using the same piano solo CD (Debussy/Krystian Zimerman) on a Marantz CD player, and the same Sennheiser headphones.
It’s hard to use it for what I want it for. It’s difficult to get going. You can’t stop it and restart it in the same spot (it goes back to the beginning). The sound is good and it doesn’t skip or jiggle but it just isn’t working well for me
The machine stops in the middle of playing and there is no reason for it. The charger is plugged into the car, but the wires tend to get in the way. It is a cheap CD player and as they say you get what you pay for. It is hard to use the buttons on the player, hard to pick the right one.
