To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Was a bit disappointed with this one. Have bought a few of Jamie's books recently and normally there are a few things I can't wait to cook but nothing really jumped out at me in this one. Is all a bit simple.
It is not a typical cooking book, you feel like reading philosophic one. Each recepy is written like a story - it's nice, but a liitle bit difficult to follow. I prefer more schematic presentation of a recipie - ingredients, preparation etc.
However I love his attitude to food and attachment to quality of food. His recipies are simple and natural.
I love the cookbook, but it is used which is why I gave it a three star instead of five. There are places in the book where food has been splattered and the jacket of the book is creased as it is when it has been used or stored. I have reread the description and am still unable to find where it says I am purchasing a used book. As for the contents of the cookbook, I have enjoyed reading it so far and look forward to trying some of the recipes. They are written in easy simple terms.
