The H and h literally only reunited at about 80% into the book and only physically touched 99% into the book. This is UNACCEPTABLE! How am I supposed to connect with the couple if they hardly interact? However, I did love when Sage would hallucinate Tehl. That was super cute... those little glimpses of imagined interactions gave me hope that the couple Will have potential in the future. Can we finally have a love story though... some romance and passion between Sage and Tehl. I'm rooting for them. Honestly, Tehl is the only reason I will continue to read this series. I'm just wondering how he's going to mend a woman who has been through so much trauma and suffering in the hands of men. Sage is kinda annoying in the beginning but she grew on me towards the end. The villain Zane was kinda annoying...I hated him so much, but I guess that was the point. I just find it unrealistic that a man like that did not rape his victim. Despite the little things that annoyed me about the book, I came to enjoy it. It's just annoying how practically EVERY man finds Sage attractive, amazing and magical. The special snowflake thing was VERY annoying. No single woman can be so attractive. I'm still going to continue the series through... If only to see TEHL get his happily ever after.
Book one was great.. By book three, I'm done. I'm no longer interested in finding out what happens. I feel like I'm chasing thread to piece together a viable plot I give a care about. I've given up, I do not feel like reading it to it's end.
