I was very suprised at how good this little MP3 player sounds, was even hearing instruments and gentle time keeping snare on tracks that I'd never noticed that detail ever before.very impressed, battery life is very good too. Bought a nice little case for it too. Very easy to populate with music too, just open a window where your music is stored and a window showing the contents of the Super Eye, then drag and drop your music and away you go. Wasnt expecting too much from this little MP 3 player, but it gives great sound quality at a very affordable price.
I'm not normally given to writing reviews, but I feel compelled to put finger to keyboard after recieving the Supereye Mp3 player. I must admit that I didn't expect much for £26 but I gave it a punt given that my present model, a Phillips that had given me excellent service, has decided it no longer wants to communicate with my PC. Upon opening it after arrival I was immediately impressed by the packaging, equal to that of a new phone - 1st box ticked! Then when I got hands on I expected a flimsy plastic body, but no - a proper metal case, 2nd box ticked! Then I thought well I bet it'll be a nightmare to transfer files from the PC (something I'd experienced with another make) no such thing, conneted it to the PC, it appeared in the explorer menu immediately and 20 mins later I had dragged and dropped 8 Gig worth of music files and I've still got 8 Gig spare. 3rd box ticked! Now for the sound quality. I haven't tried the supplied earphones as I have a pair of SkullCandy ear buds that I wouldn't be without and with them the sound is superb, 4th box ticked! I didn't really want anything more just an easy to use robust player with good sound and easy file transfer and I've got all of that PLUS it shows the cover of the music CD on the screen and full track info, bonus. DON'T FAFF AROUND SEARCHING FOR A.N. OTHER PRODUCT, BUY ONE OF THESE!!
This is a seriously nice piece of kit, its got a metallic body, a glass screen, great menus and controls. It just feels like quality like you paid a hundred quid and here it is for less than thirty. And the SOUND QUALITY is simply ASTOUNDING - it is quite easily the LOUDEST MP3 player I have ever owned. And by far the best - snap it up while you can. I have had Sandisk and Sony products recently and to be quite frank both sucked big time and this little Chinese import blows the big names right out of the water.
Its time for the Big Brands to stop selling cheap tacky plastic garbage and realise they have some serious competition,
I have only had this mp3 player about 3 days but already quite impressed.
The sound quality is very good - it drives my over-the-ear Sennheiser head phones with more than enough volume for me ( max volume is comfortable not painful! ). The in-ear head phones sound ok but obviously not as good as the over- ear type. The menu system is easy to work out without looking at the instructions.
The quality of the unit feels good and slips into the pocket and weighs very little 55 grams approx. ( L x W x D) 92mm x 40mm x 8mm approx.
Simple press of a button on the side locks keypad and blanks screen. The volume can still be adjusted even with the keypad locked using the two buttons on the side - useful feature I have found. Plays through (is seen by) my fitted as standard car stereo 2012 Peugeot 107 via the USB lead provided - receives charge at the same time. Initialises quite quick from off to on in about 3 seconds
The battery life appears ok too - had it playing through some active speakers for about 3 hours the charge indicator stayed on full charge. - but unable to give a real indication of battery life. Touch screen responds well. Sound recorder (voice) was quite acceptable quality. Not tried other functions.
Unable to get the Bluetooth to connect to my Nokia phone or Lenovo laptop. (not tried the car bluetooth)
The mp3 player appears to default to playing the tracks in random mode - you need to go into Application ->Set->Playmode->Shuffle - then select off.
If it has one issue, it's that the buttons are too sensitive. Although one press of the power button will blank the screen, it's very easy for the button to be nudged and then the touch screen buttons to stop and skip the music. So, the only solution I've found is to put the mp3 player into a small mp3 player case, which has a secure pouch inside and stops buttons getting accidentally pressed. What I like about this player is that as soon as I listened to the two sample tracks, I was genuinely amazed by the sound quality. Without having to adjust any settings or the graphic equaliser, the music had a rich deep bass balanced by crystal clear treble. The actual build quality feels solid, heavy enough that it's not going to be tugged out of my pocket any time I accidentally pull the headphone lead. If I use my bluetooth headphones, this obviously won't be an issue. I love the option for adding a 64GB SD card. Overall, really impressive and a great price.
Great Little MP 3 Player very easy to set up and Transfer from Windows Media Player as this is what I use! The Instruction leaflet is quite good! the Machine itself is amazing the only down point is the buttons are very sensitive! but once you start it playing after about 20 secs the buttons are deactivated unless you hold the one on the side for a few seconds so no accidental presses whilst jogging or in your pocket! I like my Music Loud and this doesn't disappoint in fact I don't think my ears could take full volume! so far I have transferred 60 albums without any extra memory and still have room for quite a few more! I absolutely love this player The only niggle would be there's no clip to attach it to yourself but that is a personal preference!
I got this to replace a sony one i had for 8 years and the battery was dying i only listen to audio books on this a the sound quality is great i think better than the sony the drag and drop files from laptop is very eaisy and the menu is also straghtforward to use overall a good player i got it when they were offering an 8 pound off voucher so it was a steal at the price its so good i would have paid top price anyway to sum it up good price good sound good build quality i would highly recommend this i know most people now use thier phones for misic and books but if you want just a mp3 with no fancy frills buy this you wont regret it
Although the description limits the TF to 64Gb, I wanted to use this with my whole music collection (about 185Gb), so I took the gamble of getting a 250Gb XC TF card. The SuperEye would not format the card, but I did that on my PC, and copied over my collection from my old Arcos 125Gb, and the rest of my archives, plugged it in, paired up my bluetooth headset, and went hunting for music: It was all there, even presenting the album art where present. Totally fabulous for such a small unassuming device. I bought a second one for my wife, who was content to just use the 16Gb internal memory, as her collection is not so massive. She loves it! Now I need to figure out how to get heard when I call her as she bustles around the house immersed in her music world...
As there are so many images already, I've left them out.
When you first get it, the device is fully charged. It has 16GB in-built storage, (make sure you don't delete the already installed firmware) and the first set up is literally just choosing the language.
Very easy to put music on, just a simple drag & drop like pretty much every mp3 player.
The instruction booklet is very thorough and in many different languages.
Works with Apple Airpods.
Bought this to use in the gym as I dislike taking my phone, it's lightweight, works well with bluetooth headphones and isn't complicated whatsoever so it's a great purchase in my opinion.
Won't be using the stock headphones, listened to the quality briefly, good for back-up headphones.
They also provide a "free gift" (not redeemed at this point) for a good review with proof which is a connector for an SD card and a 32gb SanDisk SD card. Although this review is genuinely just as it's a good piece of kit.
