The Easiest and tastiest Blueberry Muffins I have Ever made.

In Fact - they are the only really delicious muffins I have ever made. I've followed a high protein, low carbohydrate, diet for years and only recently started getting an insatiable craving for everything I've missed. These recipes have put
contentment back into my life. I discovered I can eat exceptionally good tasting food without any of the guilt. These recipes also work well with an airfryer.

Good recipes but navigating through the book is frustrating - (especially as I'm a busy mum). I find something I want to make then it says 'refer back to page 5 to make the first bit, then refer back to page 100 for the second bit..."etc etc..

It was so nice to receive it yesterday and I was really excited that it was a hardcover I did not expect that! My only disappointment is that we can’t buy Maya’s product range in Western Australia yet. Get this book first.

There are some great recipes here - thoroughly enjoyed the orange flavoured chicken. Some disasters though, and its quite possible as I'm in the UK, the 'equivalents' (despite diligent sourcing) just don't quite make the grade and ruin the result. The chocolate brownies were awful: having been an excellent brownie maker in the past, I was disappointed to say the least, and had to ditch. An 8 inch by 8 inch brownie tin really needs double the quantity of batter in it to allow for truly fudgy brownies. I don't believe a thin layer quite cuts the mustard... Many of the recipes have SOME metric conversions, but it is haphazard and I found myself spending a hell of a lot of time figuring out how much a stick and half of butter was, or 1/3rd of a cup of powdered sugar. A conversion chart in the book would have been useful. I actually think that my adventure into this book trying to make the brownies, and making Fat Bombs has thrown me out of deep ketosis :-)
PS - tried and tested best loved Brownie recipe would be Nigellas gluten free ones - delicious!

Love the variety of the recipes, but being from the UK I really wish that American books would provide the English equivalent for ingredients such as 'jicama' that are used where they differ. I know it's nit-picking, but it is something that does put me off buying US cookbooks normally. This book I did have to try as I follow Maya on her website, and do love her recipes. The above quibble is the only one I have, and is the only reason I took a star off.

I was hesitant about this recipe book for three reasons: new to the keto diet so wasn't sure I would enjoy it, from the UK so was worried converting measurements and ingredients would be problematic and also that the recipes may not be to my taste. This is the best recipe book I have ever had. This woman really knows her stuff. Every recipe has been easy to make and absolutely delicious. I love lots of the recipes it is like it was designed for me. Great range of recipes and I hand on heart have never made as many recipes from one book as I have from this one in just three weeks. Love it. Thank you so much! The only thing to say is the fat head dough with coconut flour hasn't quite worked for me and tried the pizza and bagels.
