Dopo averne provati tanti ho finalmente trovato multimetro realmente buono !!!
Not a bad meter at all. Has a ton of measurements and only a few annoyances. Here's the run down...
First I must say, this is definitely a heavy meter. Ive owned a buffet of meters over time of every brand out there and this one is gonna hit hard when it takes a fall. It does seem built decent so hopefully it can handle the occasional mishap.
One thing everyone talks about is the screen. I must say I agree with everyone. The multiple readouts, the pretty high resolution bar graph at the bottom, well laid out icons and indicators.... I dont know why it has taken so long for anyone to do this but this reversed image LCD looks great at any angle and any light source. I dont know how it will do eating batteries with the always on backlight tho but I will update.
Some people have complained about the leads... I own a fluke also and to be honest, these leads are just fine. They may not be fluke but they also aren't an over priced 60 bucks. They have a nice silicone feel for both the gator set and the standard tip. They feel sturdy and dont feel like they will have issues the first week. The temp probe is also nice and is a welcome sight for a budget meter compared to those cheap flimsy thermocouples that many meter companies give you. Also the measurable temp range is quite wide too... The only complaint I have on the temp department is the fact that the manual says I can switch the main display between C & F however I definitely can't. It only shows C on main disp no matter what button I push or hold. Not the end of the world tho.
The rotary dial is a bit old school but it does offer auto or manual range and also auto power off with option to cancel... Great feature!
I noticed right from the start this meter does not give me phantom readings very much and was questioning its accuracy since all the big names have phantom reading issues. I can tell you so far no matter what range or selection I have chosen, this meter has been surprisingly accurate. Not only is it accurate but even tho it claims only 3 readings per second, id put this thing up against my fluke and I bet you it will win. It is fast! Continuity mode as well.
Now for pretty much my biggest gripe.... I dont know what they were thinking but the battery door and kick stand have got to be the stupidest engineered part of this meter. What a pain it is to get it back in place with its little clips in and then secure the 1 small screw that will surely come loose and get lost in a short time. That and the cheap unpadded case... Ok but I'm nit picking now...
For the most part, this seems to be a well featured and decently built and accurate meter that you cant go wrong for the price.
