We had an incident at a job site where a mobile Router fell off to the ground from a 12ft height. Unfortunately the SMA connector just broke in half. I tried soldering the broken part in place, it was solid, but the solder just prevent the antenna to screw in deeply enough so the connector touch. After much struggle, I simply ordered that cable and replace the old one and boom, it worked!
Description says RP-SMA Male. But pics 1,2,3 are female. Pics 4 and 5 are male. Pic 7 can't make it out. 4 RP-SMA female were delivered. Maybe i can add a small wire to make them male. Was to be used with Esp32-cam. Not what i wanted or ordered. Maybe i should return them.
I recently purchased a Waveshare AC8265 Wireless NIC Module for Jetson Nano and when I went to attach the included IPEX antenna connectors, only one IPEX connector would stay connected. A computer friend who deals with IPEX antenna connectors verified that the one IPEX connector that would not stay connected to the Waveshare module was badly damaged, but also verified that the male connector on the Waveshare module was ok and undamaged. So I ordered this set of IPEX antenna connectors for the Waveshare module and was able to get the replacement antenna connector to stay seated on the module male connector, unlike the damaged one that came with the Waveshare module, allowing the use of the Waveshare module on my Jetson Nano SBC.
Ordered these to use in the build of my WE826-T2. Used these along with an EM7455 modem and a Verizon SIM card, and the proper adapter (NGFF to M.2 if I remember correctly). The setup has been working great for me for about six weeks now and couldn’t be happier with it. For rural internet, I couldn’t imagine going back to a Verizon supplier hotspot.
Over the past weeks, I purchased several different brands of antenna cables for the Intel M.2 WiFi cards . . . None fit correctly. As is normal, the cable is difficult to align but once it snaps on, it is secure and won't disconnect during installation. Don't waist your time looking at other brands . . . Just buy these!!!
