We were satisfied when receiving the projector. It wasn't amazing but it did the job for a budget projector. 2 months after owning it a white spot appeared on the display which we thought initially was just dust or a mark on the lens. That yellow spot has now turned into 6 yellow spots and after doing some googling is very difficult to fix making our projector now obsolete. Bad value - even for the price you would expect the item to last longer than 3 months. We attempted to contact the seller also in regards to a refund and never heard back.
I just received the Vamvo as a gift for my birthday. We had been looking for a projector for a while and my partner settled on this one. I did not know what to expect but once we turned it on and managed to find the right spot and distance from the wall it was just amazing. We were at the cinema at home. We struggled a little at the beginning to be honest because the sharpness and projection orientation have to be adjusted manually but once you get the hang of it it becomes super easy to set it up anywhere. It is perfect in full darkness for sure but we used it with low light settings as well and it's not bad at all. I do suggest you use HD movies though to take full advantage of its capabilities. Super easy to pack and move around. The case is the size of a small shoe box so we take it when we go on week end with friends. It was for sure a good surprise and god knows it's not easy to pick a projector these days with the quantity of options possible.

The remote is small and convenient to use, it fits well in the hand and is small and simple enough to use during a presentation. The colours were vivid and the projector is bright enough to use even during the day. There are also a few preset modes for different colour/brightness styles as well.
I love the carrying case, it looks really stylish and has nice padding all around the inside edges to protect the projector. It also has enough room to add extra cables and my external hard drive easily.
Overall this is a very good value for a projector, I highly recommend it!

El proyector funciona muy bien, le doy 3 estrellas para que si le compran al mismo proveedor que yo sepan que quizá se trate de un clon, porque no llego ni con marca ni con modelo, se supone que es un Vamvo L4200, me indicaron en un email que tenían solo en negro y lo acepte. Aun así la calidad es excelente, solo que no se si el original hubiera sido aún mejor. Me ahorre mil pesos (5,000 vs 6,000)
It worked for 1 hour and then it stopped working (does not turn on, nothing happens)
*update from 1* to 4*: within 2 hours Vamvyo contacted me and sent me a new projector that arrived 2 days later. Very fast customer service, much appreciated. Clarity is good although contrast is a bit high even with adjustments. There is no skew setting to project at an angle. Projector must be facing screen straight on, and edges are difficult to get as clear as the center of projection but that's ok for me. I attach a long AUX cable to my soundbar and it's great for what it is.

I bought this to project over a 5-6m distance to create a huge image on my windows. I can play ghostly videos for Hallow E'en and they create the image of ghosts in my windows. At that distance, the effect only works after sunset, but it is effective. The fan is a bit loud and the speakers inside have to work hard to compete. The air exhausted is warm, but not excessively so. I have good picture quality connecting this to my laptop and setting the display resolution to 1280x720 (native).
Je l’utilise au travail pour projeter des documents Word, PDF et vidéo YouTube. Je suis dans un local moyennement éclairé et l’image est belle malgré tout. Je branche mon portable avec un fil HDMI (qui vient avec le projecteur). Pour amélioré la qualité du son, j’utilise mon haut-parleur Bluetooth. Je suis très heureuse de mon achat!
I purchased this for an outdoor party for my kids. As a projector, I knew it would have to be at night. EVEN with our exterior light on, this picture is still very vibrant. Again, I am not comparing this to a movie projector or an epson brand but for the price paid, it is very good. My brother and his wife were over and very impressed. They were looking to buy one for a long time for their game room but didnt want to drop $350+. Neither did I. So I took a chance on this one. The positive views are correct. I do not know what the issues were with the 1 star reviews, perhaps they got a unit that was beat up or something but mine worked great.
I have to say, this projector delivers best crisp true 1080P quality video on my plain white basement wall. I dont use any fancy screen yet such awesome.quality. the fan sound is very quiet and no heating with 6 hrs continuous use. I built speaker not the best but blutooth output to my hometheater rocks my basement. I like the small size and got it home up with supplied hardware
