To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I love the dark lord’s tweets on twitter, and thought this would be a funny take on fantasy tropes. I guess I fell foul of assuming. This book is written as diary entries of the dark lord and the chosen one traveling to kill her. They are identical in voice. There are some humorous comments about elves. The basic premise of this book seems to be the one point, repeated, that villains are those who question and are vilified by the close minded hypocritical idiots who consider themselves good. Disappointing.
I’m very disappointed with the story. It’s just not funny. It’s too bad, because the idea behind the story has so much potential. I gave 2 stars because it’s a real book that matches the description (which makes it an order of magnitude better than some of the “books” I have found here).
