I'm a full time music teacher, and it worked great for the first two weeks, but it has started to make a very loud popping/crackling sound. I believe the issue to be the headset mic cable/cord. It makes a very loud, unpleasant noise through the speaker if the cable hardly moves scares the crap out of my students. When teaching with a mask on, the lapel mic unfortunately isn't strong enough to pic up your voice when clipped to your shirt, so the headset is your only option. Unfortunately, it is malfunctioning, not adjustable in size, and is fairly uncomfortable to wear for hours. Will probably just buy a new headset, but it sucks that this one only worked for 2 weeks.
Seemed too good of a deal when I ordered it, and it worked great for the first week or so of daily use in my virtual classroom. The battery life was very short (I had to be sure to turn it off if I was not using it) and after three weeks it just died. Thankfully I was able to return it for a full refund.
BOTTOM LINE: If you don't need to use it very often, it's a cheap way to go, but it didn't hold up to daily use. When it was working the audio quality was pretty good.
So giving us a three star review because The directions are not very clear at all. I had to do a lot of research to finally get it to work on my iPhone. When working it sounds really good, but every now and then it almost sounds like there’s a short in the wire. For those with an iPhone XR like I have, The lightning cable adapter does work but you cannot plug it up until you have it set on video ready to record. So you can’t plug it in and then Open the Camera app then slide over to video, it will not record any sound
Third time I tried to clip it to my belt the cheap plastic clip snapped off – should/must be a metal clip in order to perform as expected. Having said that, the battery life is decent, and the overall performance meets expectations.
I mean it works fine, but I think it was not meant to move around a lot and do crazy stuff idk, I make videos like baylen Levine and the microphone often cuts out then comes back in, good mic audio but sometimes it’s trouble
