After much research (my wife Karen says that I am OCD when it comes to buying something) I ordered the Crossfire series binoculars for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica. Tried them out on a camping trip this weekend and was absolutely blown away with the clarity. I have the Crossfire10x50s and my wife has the Crossfire 8x42. Both pairs are very solidly built and of excellent quality The low light capabilities was amazing as I was able to spot grazing deer in a distant field one evening that I could not make out with the naked eye. Vortex will be my go to company for optics from now on. You can't beat the value to dollar in these binoculars period.
As soon as I pulled these binoculars out of the box I could tell I made a good purchase. I bought them for bird watching. I seen something move on the other side of the field, about 100 yards, to my surprise it was a fox and 3 little pops. I could see them so clearly. I have only had cheap binoculars so it took me a minute to figure out how to adjust them to my eyes. The clarity is amazing.
If you never treated yourself to a decent pair of binoculars, get these.
I have multiple Vortex products and including scopes for my rifles and needed some Binoculars. I didn't need to spend hundreds of dollars but wanted a nice pair. Ive been a long time Vortex fan so I wanted to give these a shot. For the money, you can't get a better pair of binoculars. They are great and having the case included is a huge +. They are a little heavy than others but that doesn't bother me. Another fantastic Vortex product.
I bought this pair of binoculars for stargazing, birdwatching, and for use on my boat. They seem to be very good quality. Stars resolve to crisp points of light. 10x magnification is much better than the 7x for birdwatching. I also have developed a preference for these for marine use, mostly because of the greater magnification. The bag and lens caps are of exceptional quality and very well designed. Very happy with my purchase.
So far the only complaint I have is that when they shipped the product they shipped it in the original box. They didn't even tape the box closed, So defiantly had to check it over. Haven't used them yet but defiantly lot better than my 10X42.
This is a super great product. Very impressed with its visibility. Can literally see the craters on the moon with amazing definition. However, still can't "see" the point of life......mic drop......I'll see myself out 🤣
These binoculars don’t adjust narrow enough for my eyes—not enough to produce one composite image. I have a small head and narrow eye-width and often have a problem with inexpensive binoculars. Otherwise the binoculars are well made, somewhat heavy (10x50), and yield a decent image. But. I stand by my Nikon Monarchs for image quality and adjustability for bird watching. I will return these binoculars.
I did a lot of research to find affordable Binoculars without breaking the bank, my limit was around $300, I paid around $200. This pair of Binoculars does it, its amazing clarity, ease of use, a little heavy but you know you have good glass and the form factor fits in your hands perfect.
