It's too easy to delete everything, the buttons for scrolling and main menu are not set up, you have to figure out their special configuration, which makes it annoying to use. Bought this for my young daughter to use. And she has, but even keeping lists and finding those play lists she has, is not easy, for her, or for us. I would not recommend this. It is cheaply made. The setup is not intuitive. Lots of the buttons and getting in an out of the main menu is a hassle. It feels like the software setup was thrown together in a hurry with out much thought put into it. The pro is that though the software is bonkers and has a steep learning curve and then some. The case it self is not bad, and can hold up to kids, but then kids that are just button pushers will not be able to really use it well, and in one button delete everything, because the delete option is on the main menu and is easier to access than playlists. Be forewarned. This isn't even a good first mp3 player like I was hoping for because of the software setup. Good luck! Yes we still use it. Should have gone with my gut and returned it, but we are past that point. In the future I may spend a little more money for something that is quality made and easy to use.
I was hoping this would be a lot like the first generations of iPods, but it’s not. It’s super hard to navigate through files/songs and I forgot how much I hate having to buy songs filed and then transfer them to a device via my computer. Charging it is also a pain. Plus, this arrived with a bunch of random files already (most of which were dated 2016) on it so I’m pretty sure it’s a used device. All that being said, my 9 year old LOVES it so I guess it was worth the low purchase price.
I like that it holds a lot of music and sounds good. What I don't like is how frustrating it is to scroll through files. Trying to scroll down it constantly bounces up then down and back up one two or three files. If your lucky it may scroll down again. Also it keeps repeating and it wasn't set to repeat. Would not purchase again because of the frustration. Too bad because it does sound good.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son - after opening, you could immediately feel the cheapness of the product. It also is a little confusing trying to navigate the device. But to sum it up, my son had it for about a week and it has already broke. The on/off button is actually just a small, cheap plastic piece that hovers above an even smaller, cheap plastic piece that connects to the motherboard. The larger plastic piece came off track from the other plastic piece, so I had to pry the device open to turn the device back on, but now it doesnt even work. When plugged in, it turns on and says it is charging, but as soon as I disconnect the charger, it shuts off and doesnt work. Wish I could return but I cant. This is the last time I'm going to buy a cheap mp3 player in the hope it will survive a week.
We’ve bought one for each of our kids now, and we love them! You can listen to the radio and it records from the radio. A lot cooler than the cassettes I used as a kid, and better sound quality, too! And if my kids mess them up, I’m not going to cry because they were $20 a piece!!
Got the product and it sounds great but it only has a charging port, there’s no way to plug into my computer to get my kid songs. Very disappointing. I got the red one for the other twin and it works great 😢😢very sad boy here today and we didn’t unbox it until their birthday and now we can’t return it.
I bought two of these for Christmas gifts. One black one and one blue one. The black one loaded and is some what fine, the blue one is nothing but a piece of crap. Doesn't let me load anything on it. Says to run a 'scan' to fix... doesn't fix. Reformatted the thing and still doesn't work. Don't waste your money. On my way to Best Buy to get a different one. Nice Christmas gift.... NOT!!!!!!!!
I only needed something to hold music in. I don't mind that you can't pick songs to play next specifically and have to go through the playlist, but it might to some of you. Headphones come with it and they are REALLY good. I blast my music and it took them forever to finally start breaking which says something. I normally go through headphones once every 2-3 weeks but they survived months (like I said, I blast my music).
This has a very difficult operating system to use. And the directions are written in poor English. It is fine if you want a super cheap music player but don't expect it to be on the same level as a ipod.
