To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Press the volume up and down key together to change the frequency. This is the only tricky one, other than that this microphone system is self-explained, very easy to use. Sound quality is good, I don't see a difference when compared to my PurplePanda microphone. The system comes with 3 different microphones, which is very handy. I wish they can also provide a case or something that can make the system more carriable. The receiver is bigger than I want but it's quick, and it needs to be charged separately with a micro USB cable. I took the transmitter to another room, the receiver has no problem picking up the sound. Another thing need to be noted is that this micorphone system doesn't work with mobile phones, I have tested it on both IOS and Android, it doesn't work on both. But I already know it when I purchase it, so it's not something surprising.
I am blown away by how great this mic is for the price. I was really excited to review it.
I use this in my spin classes-it works perfectly...no problems so far. I’m constantly moving and sweating during class and it stays put and doesn’t distort. I charge it before each use, and it lasts the entire hour and then some. Works just as well as the very expensive brands. I’ve been using mine for three months now with no issues.
This is very small, way too small for my mic belt, but it has a handy clip on it that clips right on to my pants. Note that the length of the cord from headset to mic pack is somewhat shorter than other brands-this works okay for me, but there is no slack. Also, I can’t walk around the entire room without cutting out...again this is okay for me because I am usually on the bike, or close to the transmitter, typically within 8’
Definitely buy this....especially if you want to save TONS of money.
This worked perfectly for my brother’s wedding! Last minute changes due to weather, COVID, and the overall horrible year, 2020 led to holding the ceremony in our backyard. We streamed the ceremony via Zoom through an iPad. I was the Officiant and I used the lavalier mic attachment and clipped the mic to my shirt and the transmitter to my pants pocket. The Zoom participants were able to hear me perfectly! Only two downsides, when receiver was plugged into iPad headphone jack, we couldn’t hear the Zoom participants (which was not a problem for us since we wanted the participants muted anyways), and it didn’t pick up the voice of someone who did a reading a few feet away from me (that was our bad, we should have tested the sound first). Easy instructions, easy charging (split charging-cable was a great addition!), and great sound quality!
I cannot say enough good things about this microphone! In this crazy Covid19 world we are living in, we just used this to share my 92 year old Grandmother's graveside service with family members across the country that were not able to be here. It was a blustery, drizzling day here in Chicago and even with the wind the pastor's voice came through crystal clear to everyone on the Zoom meeting and video. While we ordered this for a very specific purpose, we will use this mic again and again now I am sure.
I liked this microphone. It comes with a lot of extras so that you can get it to work for you. Three different plug adapters for different connections. I could not get the mic to work on my new Lenovo laptop. Lucky me, I have a USB sound board adapter. I plugged the reciever into the adapter and then it worked fine. I wanted a wireless lavaliere mic because I am demonstrating Martial Art techniques on Zoom, am about 10 to 15 feet away from my web cam, and moving around. Other instructors lose sound quality quickly as they move around and sometimes with their backs to the webcam.
As to the mic itself. The sound quality is somewhat better than the webcam. I think the volume output is a little lower but has more timbre than the web cam. I believe that pinning the mic to my collar was the issue. When I pinned the mic the front of my shirt I got a louder sound.
The reasons for the 4 star instead of a five star is that 1. It requires an additional device to connect to my laptop as stated above; 2. Battery life is nowhere near six hours, at least for the transmitter. In order to get good sound on Zoom I had the volume at max. I suppose that is why I think two hours is all I can get out of it. I actually used it for one hour and it was already at one bar of power.
I have another wireless mic and I had the same issue connecting with the Lenovo laptop so the issue may be with the Lenovo.
One other nice thing about this item. The two halves require USB charging. It does not come with a charger. But it does come with a twin charging cord so that both transmitter and receiver can be plugged into a charger and be charged at the same time.
I did lose the connection between the receiver once. I read the instructions and was able to recconnect. BTW, you can be sure the instructions were not written by a native English speaker.
