To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is going to sound insane but our intercoms have picked up other peoples channels and I’ve heard various other conversations, arguments, etc. from people I don’t know. I’ve unplugged all of the intercoms now and totally feel unsafe with it. It’s happened 5 times. I gave it a shot and assumed it was my head making it up or something but 4 more times and sure enough there’s other people talking through the intercoms.
This can only be laughingly called an intercom/monitor. As one reviewer noted, a connection would drop out for no reason. Monitor function is useless. It is not duplex which is the basic reason why it is useless. The monitor would only stay on if the room has steady loud noise. Obviously for use as a baby monitor is useless. After a few minutes of silence the monitor function stops. This is due to the basic flaw technology, which allows only one direction conversation at a time. To maintain direction, the noise must be high enough to trigger the connection. Yech. As a call only device, the need to press the talk button is vexing. What happens when both parties want to talk. In a full duplex system (eMacros which I brought) allows simultaneously two way conversation. MOreover, the transmission is digital so clarity is maintained, not degraded like this analog intercom.
Complete crap. Constant cross talk regardless of channel. Once plugged in anyone and everyone can listen to your household. Very big security risk. Every channel will provide varying degrees of transmitting your conversation.
