The recipes are ok, and healthy. I would have given it an extra star, were it not for the fact that there are no pictures for any of the recipes, apart from one at the start of chapters. A missed opportunity for what could have been a much better book.
Fantastic recipes, lots of them old classics as well. I suspect that majority of the recipes is for making on the hob. But just need to tweak it and it can be made in a soup machine, or a pressure cooker so. I look forward to putting these recipes to use, and enjoying them, their easy to follow has great tips if your on a gluten free diet and what to do, this recipe book is well thought out. Great recipes I love them.
It's easy to forget that these soups are healthy for you - I live alone and make a big pot of soup weekly to see me through the week. The two I've made so far - spicy coconut-pumpkin and golden vegetable, along with a salad and crusty roll - have been so tasty that they have been dinner almost every night of the week. Perfect for a lazy cook like me who still wants to stay healthy.
