Bought this so I could mount my new HP 27FW to a single monitor arm. Looked at alternatives but HumanCentric received consistently good reviews. I see why! Well designed, very simple to install and works perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend.
I bought a HP 27fw monitor and just assumed that it would have the VESA mounting holes for use with a monitor arm. Unfortunately it does not, presumably due to the ultra slim design. This adapter is simple to fit and provides the standard VESA mounting pattern, so solves the problem - at a price!
Sadly this product is substandard and after only a few weeks of use has been binned and replaced. When connected to the monitor the level of wobble is unbearable and the additional support arm to help stabilise the monitor is useless.
Overall a poor and substandard product where it’s rivals are infinitely superior. A return to the drawing board for this product is a dead certainty.
Saved me bought 27es without knowing it does not have VESA mounting holes. Downside is that is has too much flextures but I cannnot complain as it does pretty reasonable job and did not take too much time to put together.
Tried this for mounting my HP 27fw monitor on an arm. While it could technically hold the monitor, any movement would cause the tiny screws that are supporting the whole monitor to come out. This luckily didn't lead to any damage but I wouldn't risk it again. Would be massively improved if this adapter attached more securely to the monitor, however right now it's not a reliable solution. That said I received my refund very promptly so can't fault their customer service.
I used this with an HP 27 ea and had no issues. It was easy to install and the included instructions were straight forward. It does seem quite expensive for what is basically a piece of metal and a few screws but I couldn't find a cheaper alternative. Overall I'm very happy.
