Top critical review
Poor quality testing
Reviewed in Australia on 6 February 2020
I bought this laptop for my son's TAFE course - not usually a fan of reconditioned tech, but had heard good things about Aus Computer Traders and decided the price looked good for the advertised specs.
Package arrived very quickly and laptop seemed in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the power charger / power connector seems to be faulty, and the battery will not charge. The laptop seems to run fine when connected to a power supply, but won't start/boot without the charger connected. Windows 10 reports that the battery is at 0% regardless of how long the laptop is connected to the mains.
I suspect either the batteries have reached critical charge level and cannot be recharged, a blown fuse, or the AC adapter is failing.
Hoping this is resolved soon, as I am surprised the laptop was shipped in this condition from a reputable dealer with an otherwise good reputation for QA.
