To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The little player was good. The menu system was very odd. Sideways was up and down on some menus while the up and down was also used at times. Music played fine. Videos as well. The bookmark function, when trying to use it, would result in a bunch of gibberish characters scrolling quickly down. This was essential for use with audiobooks, which was I purchased this device. I contacted the seller, and they said it was probably defective. It was returned. I purchased another Sansa, though I am still not happy with those either for audiobooks.... Thank you.
Theses Are Junk! Had it less the 4 days and it broke. Very Cheaply made. If I could I would give this a Negative -5!!!!
EDIT UPDATE: This product is indeed cheaply made, but for the price it's not as bad, after it broke my husband was able to put it back together and get it working again so not as bad as originally thought, went from 1 star to 3.
Not bad. Good for running because when you wear it with the cord attachment, it’s lightweight and small enough not to notice. The sound quality is good, but the buttons are tricky and like some of the other comments, it’s not continuous (unless I didn’t figure out how to enable that feature). Didn’t come with basic instructions, so I’m not sure if I know when to charge the battery. It’s probably the red light that I currently see blinking but if that’s the case I don’t know when it’s done charging. Manufacturers may want to improve on the product by including instructions.
There is actually more that I don't like than that I do like. You have to use the images on Amazon to see how to do more than a simple play. With in days I was having issues with the play/pause button not really working. I will buying a better one. It is a good storage unit.
