To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Good construction, easy to use, easy to set up, very good price, just a minus if your router is disconnected for more than a few minutes, it doesn't connect again, you have to do it manually, that's all I found negative about this product ... otherwise it is a very good product.
It's very reliable. I programmed a few plugs to go on/off at particular time and has not miss a beat. The only reason why it's not 5-star rating is that the Smart-Action is limited to 3 plugs only. So if you have more than 1 of this power strip, you can't program anymore smart action. I hope that this is temporary and future firmware upgrades will lift this limit.
Another feature I like is that I can just ask Alexa to turn off a group of plugs - very useful around kitchen appliances.
I will agree with the other review that it is expensive for what it is.
However, this has been the best purchase for my particular situation where i had a power board and multiple individual wifi plugs that wouldn't fit into them.. this product has three individually controllable sockets - though a bit more spacing between them would be even better.
It also meant that I could use the usb ports for my phone charger instead of using up one of the sockets and so very useful for a situation like under the bed where it can have my phone usb cable always plugged in, the bedside light so it can be set to a timer/turned on and off via voice, and the electric blanket so i can turn it on while I'm still at my desk and it can be already warm by the time I hop in bed.
Maybe a specific use case but works out very good for me. Still have a spare slot there if I need to plug in laptop charger etc - though I prefer now that all the lights are setup the way I like to keep it tucked away where I need never physically press the on/off buttons on the sockets.
Easy to setup and I'm comfortable with the tp-link kasa app and it works really well with the Google Home app. Recommended.
While it is expensive for a three slot power board it is essentially a five item device with the two usb plugs and ultimately cheaper than buying three individual socket adaptors.
