This flashlight started ok, but after 3-4 days of light/easy use, the light started flickering regardless whether it's in low mode/high mode. At first I thought it was because of battery level, but even after fully charged, the light would turned off by itself momentarily, then came back on; or started flickering for several seconds, then back to normal again. Seems like lots of stuff going on with this streamlight model that made me doubt its reliability. This happened to both my Coyote and Blue version of this model.
I bought 6 of these as stocking presents. I decided to open my light now. Insert battery, press button WOW terrific light .... but you have to continue pressing or the light turns off. I tried pressing hard. Nope. I come back to Amazon to question why no constant light. I should have read the 1 and 2 star reviews. Seems like this has been a problem going back 3 or 4 years. Returning these and looking for ones that work and cost less than $20.
Love the size of this little light and it works well for doing inspections at night. Definitely worth spending a little more money for a good light. I had a knock off pen light before and the battery wouldn’t even last 2 nights. UPDATE: Th Battery life is not what i thought it was. I have not had to use this light very often because i was working the day shift, but working on the night shift i have to use it quite regularly and the battery may last a shift. It also takes a long time to recharge. Im now looking for another flashlight so not happy about wasting 30$ on this one.
The on/off button on the back stopped working in less than 6 months, it clicks but when finger removed light goes out. By all means it looks solid but that's about it. I used to have Streamlight 66118 and it lasted couple of years. Going to look for another maker.
First off, I believe that I have gotten a bum model, I do not think this is the standard. When I received it, it came with some charge, enough to test it around and play around with it for a bit before plugging it in. The problem came after I unplugged it. I would click it on, and the light would just flick off after maybe a second. If even just a tiny amount of pressure is used on the button, it comes back on like normal, but without that, it stays off. This was all the day that it arrived. Very disappointed, will be contacting customer support ASAP
Have owned of these for over a year now. Purchased it off the tool truck and it works great. Purchased a back up from Amazon and the things awful. Battery doesn’t last at all. It sometimes won’t turn on. Things junk. I don’t know what’s different but there is a huge difference.
