Lots of helpful hints about the diet and IBS. However it takes ages having to look up all equivalent measures and temperatures which takes away from the usability of recipes. Also still need to purchase and download Monash app to continue on after 28 days. The recipes use a lot of peanut butter and or maple syrup so are quite sweet. Found the sauces to be quite thin maybe a miscalculation due to changing between cup and grams. Basic principles work but these recipes are additional work and not quite to my tastes.
I liked the explanation of what Fodmap is, but the actual recipes are very disappointing. I was expecting recipes using real foods which are low-Fodmap, not normal recipes with ingredients like "Three slices of low-Fodmap bread" and "low Fodmap pasta" . Also the method to reintroduce higher-Fodmap foods was glossed over and not properly explained. Disappointing book.

I’ve almost finished reading through this book and have found it very straight forward, simple and informative. I have tried a few of the recipes already and so far, have been impressed by all of them! There are especially some great low FODMAP breakfast recipes.
I am in a Facebook group where these dieticians are and have also worked 1-1 with one of them and I honestly loved this book. The recipes are so good, and easy! Most are ones that I would not even think of myself but I enjoyed them. Highly recommend.
Great book. The recipes are creative, delicious, and use ingredients that are (mostly) easy to find. This book has been a god-send for me, because my husband has IBS and I needed inspiration. The fact that this is written by dietitians is so important - that way I know that I am getting accurate and evidence-based information!
Was so happy for all the information that's in the front of the book and the recipes are either stuff you already have in your cupboard or items that you can see yourself buying. The BBQ sauce recipe is AWESOME and I've tried a number of them.
