I am assuming these are the same pair that came with my phone, they appear the same. It does seem like the cord is thinner but I'm not sure. However, the static feedback Im getting from these is a bit unbearable. Since at least one ear piece of my old set works, I can hear the difference. Every time i press something I get a white noise sound the originals I have do not suffer from. They sound the same when something is playing, which is great, but as soon as there is silence you can hear a constant white noise. I'm going to assume for now that this is just a defective unit itself, and am in the process of a return/replacement so I'll find out in a few days what the final verdict is.
--------------------- Turns out the headphones do suck. Both pairs had the SAME EXACT issue. 20 bucks is too good to be true, especially as they are advertised as the official versions....they are not
I didn't notice this with my original headphones...but it seems like the sound cuts out during moments of low volume/silence. This is not a good thing. I use mine to listen to Audible books. During a pause in the reading, the sound seems to turn off, then when the reader speaks again the sound seems to turn back on. This results in me missing most of the first word of a sentence which is very distracting. There is also a reasonably noticeable electronic *hiss* whenever the earbuds are active. I had the same exact headphones that came with the phone, then those were lost and I replaced them with these. These replacements were just very disappointing with respect to audio quality. I'm not sure if it is a problem with my particular pair...or a new manufacturing issue.
these came with my samsung galaxy phone and sounded amazing, so when they stopped working in one ear within a couple weeks i chalked it up to just being a faulty pair, so i purchased another. again, great sound quality until they started to fail in one ear (one side audibly lower than the other). then the actual ear bud casing fell apart on one of the buds. this happened with the first pair that came with my phone, but i was able to successfully push it back into place. i did not have the same luck with this one. i was not rough on them, as i never am with my earbuds which is why i still have my sonys to fall back on now that a second pair of these have failed me.
The headphones just came in a transparent plastic bag with nothing else but a few different size buds. Plugged the headphones into my phone and there's a static noise that's almost louder than the actual audio. Don't waste your money. Better off buying the white Google pixel ones.
Sounds fine when it works. I usually have to pull it out & reinsert it multiple times before it works. I know it's not my cell because I have no problems with the original one that came with the phone.
