Very nifty - surprised nobody had though if this concept earlier!

I have used the Renpho smart scale for years and it's been the best scale I've ever used (admittedly, it's the only bluetooth scale I've used but I've used a number of fat measuring scales in the past).
I became across the smart measuring tape through the Renpho app and checked it out online. I was interested in ordering it from overseas but Renpho did not offer shipping to Australia. I was very happy to learn that it became available on the local Amazon and bought it as soon as it launched.
I believe this product is the easiest way to not only self-measure but also to record it over time. I use it to track the results of my weight-lifting workouts.
Is there an opportunity for improvement? Most definitely. Between the weight composition from the smart scales and the measurements - the app has a wealth of data about my body but doesn't seem to be doing anything smart with it. Since the scales think that I am fatter than I actually am, despite me using the "athlete mode", I would have thought that with the addition of such data from the smart tape such as the waist, hip and shoulder circumference, the app would finally figure out that I have less fat and adjust the weight composition measurements but the tape measurements seemed to have no impact on that. I would implore the app developers to take advantage of that, as it would tremendously increase the value of both products as a unique solution on the market.
