The series so far, is fat paced, very interesting and brings back, a good versus bad nostalgia, to a fantasy series that I haven't found for quite a while. Some of the plots are a little simple and predictable but they are so well written that you forgive them immediately and enjoy the ride. My only complaint is that the books are too short.
I have no comments to say on this book! OK, maybe I should just mention that "Thomas" progresses though a series of events that give him further life experiences. Keep reading the series if you've already started as things are starting to heat up for "Thomas".
To damn short , I'm beginning to notice a trend where an Author writes a decent size book . Then the next ones that come out in the same series are shorter and shorter . Very irritating other then that it was a decent story but I'm losing interest fast. Hopefully Wacht improves the next book or I'm done
Books 1 and 2 were good reads and for the price couldn’t beat it. Book 3 for a short read had fluff but was a good read with good action and where you hoped the story would continue going. Brings us to this book. Not sure what happen here but I’m pretty sure once there’s a book 5 that this one book 4 could be skipped. It just added nothing to the overall story. Demons, hellhounds and other monsters are flooding your homeland as well as you people dire need for help and you take a week off to attend a festival. But at $2.99 I don’t feel that put off.
