To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I did not know SUNHai and have never used its product before. Probably it is from a small (or midsize) Chinese company. But, I chose it over other compatible (and big brand name) products due to the simple logic. When a small Chinese company tries to sell its product with its own brand name SUNHai, the product should have SOMETHING- better quality sounds, more functions in the products, and so on. When I got it and used it, I found that my 'instinct' was right. SUNHai J19 has a bluetooth 5.0 and great sounds in it. You know what? I seldom write a review on what I bought from Amazon or internet sellers. This time, I really want to write a GREAT review because I was very impressed with the quality of the product with a very cheap price. It's just about $19 bucks. You are not going to look for a 'brand-name' product with that price. Try something new. You won't regret it.
Pros: The delivery was very speedy, The sound is Amazing, Connecting to Bluetooth is quick and simple. The FM Radio Stations are very clear and are so loud we had to turn it down a few times to talk to one another. For these Pros, its a very Good and Quality product.
Cons: Mainly The Radio Feature. The Radio Presets are automatically set by the Manufacturer. The Manual does not say how to preset the stations. -The manual that came with my product simply states that the NUMBERS are to "Enter selected songs, radio, and frequency" -When the Numbers are hit in FM mode, it messes up the stations and you have to search the station you want all over again. Its very frustrating trying to figure out how to program the radio stations. If you figure it out please tell the rest of us. -It only has only FM, No AM feature.
OVERALL Very good product if used for a simple BLUETOOTH Speaker, It has loud crisp sound that needs to be turned down ( very good thing), the Battery lasts almost 5 hours, And has a Great Quality feel to the body of the speaker.
But I feel like this product can be improved with the RADIO Features. Seems like the RADIO part of this product was a great Idea but feels like it could be less stressful if More time was put into making it easier to navigate.
It has nice looking. This evening, I has tried the minimum volume of this speaker, found that it sounds quality. At the meantime, It has fine workmanship without defects. The comprehensive performance is very good. What a excellent Bluetooth at this price. Also the audio function is comprehensive! High performance-to-price ratio. Especially for watching some MV or music program. Such as Billboard. Good stereo can make your ears and eyes are immersed in it at the same time! It's amazing!!!!
Though I did not check the dimensions on this product, I was surprised at how small it was. I have large hands and can easily cover it with one hand. The FM antenna is nostalgic and it took me by surprise, but this radio searches on its own all the stations in your area and auto presets them which is cool. When you switch functions it talks to you to let you know where you are at i.e. BT, FM, MemCard, USB. while in each function the buttons operate different features. Blue Tooth connects quickly to my android and IPhone, SD card plays flawlessly but you must have music on it. I have yet to try the USB or connection cable but I am sure its up to par. Now the good stuff. The music sounds great for this lil Bim Box. Sits by the pool, patio table, on my desk and if in BT mode, I can even answer the phone. Sounds Great and perfectly priced. It's my bug out bag addidition.
Well honestly I'm extremely impressed to say the very least. What a beautiful and well made product, it really is. The craftsmanship is beautiful and very solid. The sound that it produces is amazing. I may be back to write more on this product once I've had it a while longer. I'm telling you that anyone that purchases this item will not be sorry.
I bought this to have a small portable/radio/bluetooth speaker in my garage. Great value for the ~$25. Has nice feel and compact size. FM rception is good and it even has a tiny popup antenna that seems to help reduce static. FM scan works well. Keypad at top lets you punch in the station. There may be a way to do preset stations but I cant figure it out. Bluetooth with iphone works great with no connection issue or anything odd. Rechargable and holds for long time but I havent checked how long. I havent tried answering iphone on it yet. Uses the standard micro(?) USB connector to charge so no special charger to lose. Havent tried SD card yet (they call it TF). Sound is very good and not tinny - not a lot of bass but I didnt expect incredible sound at this price. It sounds best when you put it in open on a clear surface in middle of area like a table.
This seemed like a good little speaker/radio. The sound was good & it could be turned quite loud for how small it is. However, when trying to tune stations on the radio it works like an auto tuner on your TV & you are only able to listen to the stations it decides to pick up. There’s no way to turn it to a particular station unless it picks it up & programs it to a number for you. I even went outside & was able to get several more stations to program although several of them were static or nothing at all. What baffled me was that out of the 20+ stations it did pick up it would not pick up our local radio station of 104.1, however it did get 104.0 which was nothing. Not even static. I thought I could deal with this since it did pick up another good station I liked & the Bluetooth worked fine. Then after several hours of listening the battery needed charged for the first time. It came with a small cord that I obviously didn’t pay much attention to until this time. I pulled it out & realized the cord which was supposed to plug into a phone charger per the directions had two matching ends that could not plug into any phone chargers I've ever owned. I wish I had a picture to include. It reminded me of how you would plug in old headphones. I don’t know any kind of charger or plug in device that charges this way. The back of this device even has a USB port & several other port holes but I had nothing to plug the cord it came with into. At this point I’ve decided to return this item. I’m not sure where it came from but I’m pretty sure it’s not USA.
As you can see me original review was very favorable. I purchased the Sunhai Bluetooth speaker May 16th 2020 and it's now December 2020 and the 32 GB TF/SD card is no longer being read. Only the bluetooth and radio are functional. I looked for a way to contact support in hopes of their being a reset option. Unfortunately there was no option to contact them and the product isn't working 7 months later. So I am changing my review to reflect the limited time I was able to use the product. Hope this helps! ____________________________________________________________________________ Well, quite a surprise! I know you are only going to get so much sound out of a little speaker but this speaker has darn good sound for how diminutive it is. It is so portable and full of features. I love the TF Card I have 15 gigs of my favorite music. I have a TF/Micro SD card for Audio Books and Podcasts. It has an On/Off Switch which helps save battery life. It has a radio and the unit holds a charge for days, literally...The sound if you don't turn it all the way up sounds good. It's not a Bose speaker but it is loud enough and has sufficient sound quality especially for the price. It's highly portable I take it with me everywhere. Hope this helps!
I had purchased this little radio because it had great reviews. Unfortunately, it turned out that this device was adequate as a bluetooth speaker, but as a FM radio, it had isn’t quite there. This radio’s reception was not good and all local stations were accompanied with plenty of static. Unfortunately I will be returning this little radio. UPDATE: I decided to keep the little radio. Though it wasn’t very good at receiving the local radio stations, it did a great job serving as a FM receiver at the drive-in theater. The speakers were pretty good at delivering a nice balanced sound for the movies.
