To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Given the silly price of Bushnell products, this is a more than adequate stand-in. Seems to have no problems picking up flags and seems to be accurate - the laser operation and calculations will be identical to what any other manufacturer uses, save military use.
Instructions are clear enough and haven't been translated horrendously from its native Chinese.
The only silly thing about it is that the yardages are given to two decimal places. This is only worth doing if the accuracy is within 0.01 yards, when it's not - it is only accurate within 1 yard. The extra numbers are a bit annoying and don't mean anything.
Overall, if it fails in anything over 2 years from now, I'd say it's amazing value for money.
Seems to have all the attributes of the more expensive brands. I think the 6x magnification is a bit too much as it's difficult to hold steady. Found it impossible to find the flag in a cluttered background but this is my first rangefinder & perhaps that's fairly normal. The pin finder vibe works nicely
I recently decided to purchase a rangefinder to use a golf training aid. I was aware of the big names but didn’t want to pay the big prices and came across the Aofar G2 rangefinder which was on special offer. I liked the look of the specifications and the fact that there was a two year guarantee along with a competitive price. I am pleased with the product. It comes with a sturdy case, a carrying strap and carabiner. It is easy to use and the ‘jolt’ technology works well. I had a question regarding the guarantee and contacted the seller who replied in a helpful and friendly manner within 24 hours. Why not 5 stars? The only issue I have is with the instruction manual which is difficult to understand in some sections, presumably because of it being translated from another language. There is, however, a video on YouTube which is helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this rangefinder.
The price and delivery were good. The product feels light but is difficult to put into case. Flag distance vibrate works most times but not always. Actual distances match my GPS most of the time but I have had some rather long readings which I did not believe. The slope calculation is very interesting and a nice feature. Overall probably good for the price.
