I was excited when I saw this with the title of sourdough starter 100 artisan bread baking. There are only 3 recipes out of the 100 in the book that actually use a sour dough starter, yet the forward goes into lots of detail about creating and caring for your sour dough starter. There are a number of recipes which do not have any form of yeast or rising agent, yet are supposed to a dough which rises to make a bread or bread roll. If you are looking just for a book on baking bread or bread rolls, then the book is fine, but sour dough it is not for you.
I bought the book for the sourdough recipes, but there were only 2. The rest of the recipes were poorly written with little explanation of the end result. Some recipes had no visible leavening. I'm not sure if they would rise at all. Not worth buying in my opinion.
