Was concerned about the original strap so thought it would be worthy to invest in the 'elite' strap, to my disappointment despite the size adjustments working well, the comfort level has little to no improvement compared to the original. Love the quest but cannot justify buying the strap for anyone else considering.
I expected more for the money. To be honest if it wasn't for the fact I wanted to use a set of PSVR headphones on it I'd have kept the default strap. I also must have a funny shaped head, as I find the lower rubber ring part in the back digs into the back of my head and neck and becomes uncomfortable after a while! I wish they'd just used a strap like on the Quest 1. After all if it ain't broke. Don't fix it!
It was aweseome the first week! Then the rear part started to shift more and more to one side. I wouldn't recommend this at all....And to return it I have to pay the expanses for the transport. Awesome.
$50 was already pretty expensive, but would have been worth it to me if it worked. I’m stuck either having the hmd rest on my orbital bones or having the cup in the back dig into the knot at the base of my skull. Either option gives me headache in about 90 seconds. I’m going to buy the counter weight and the VR cover faceplate when they come out later this month. Overall huge disappointment I am having VR withdrawals going to hook my Rift S back up for now even though it has no IPD adjustment, rather have a blurry image than a headache.
