All the books are too short and contain so much recapping that i have to skim over it. We remember what's already passed, there's no need to go into it all again in so much detail. It's a shame really that the author has compromised on the quality. These six books should have the fluff removed and be condensed into 3 books. Will continue reading however would suggest the author take the time to consider of he wants to be a mediocre author or a good one.
Book six should have been an epic finale. Instead, it started out very good then petered out, just to set readers up to purchase another book. This could have been a great four book series. Yes, four! Now, I’m not inclined to move on to the next one.
The treatment of a female protagonist as a sometimes great aspiring queen, but then succumbing to childish bullying was a non-sequitur of the character the author was building.
this series has a really great story line that draws you in, plenty of action and the ending in each book makes you want to read the next one. Now that the lost Kestral has claimed his heritage he has opened up a whole new can of worms for the king who was fixated on stealing it, looking forward to the next in the series
The story line is good, with characters that are easy to care about. Definitely a good series to read. However, the tendency to repeat explanations grows tiresome by this book in the series. I felt like a good 40% of the book was repeating background information that was unnecessary. It's understandable that the author would not want any readers who didn't read the previous books to be lost, but it is most frustrating to have to re-read so much to get to the story's continuation. I'd rather each book build upon the story and not try to be a stand alone book by itself.
Loved this story it kept me in a state of happiness as the plot unwound Waited with great excitement for the next book I want more . I love the masterful way the writer involves you Great story Peter more of Thomas please
