Customer Review

I bought this book because I loved the cover and I ended up being pleasantly surprised by the story.
While similar to A court of thorns and roses by Sarah J Maas this book is a more family friendly fair folk romance. I enjoyed the fact it was a short stand alone novel so I could dip my toes into a great fantasy world without the long commitment. This book could be read in one sitting.
The world is richly described and the characters are interesting though forgettable in the long run.
Margaret Rogerson’s other book A sorcery of thorns is a 10/10 read and I would recommend giving that a go.

My copy arrived slightly damaged so I was refunded half the cost of the book. I could have opted for a replacement or refund but I was excited to read the book so I decided to keep the damaged copy.
