Sick design. I used one for my 24X7 running server and one day the app notified me there was a firmware update and kindly reminded me “ please leave the device on during update” but nothing more. I clicked UPDATE and you know what? Yes it cut off the power supply and my server which was just running disk checking shut down and restarted. Why wasn’t there any warning that a reboot of the device would happen during an update???? Can’t believe such stupid mistake could be made by the manufacturer. Now I got some data loss and am trying to rebuild them.
